360 used to really be a tourist trap but they upped the quality of the food over the past few years. Definitely recommend it to people visiting the city

We've been to Toronto many times. Love the city. To enjoy the CN Tower , taking in a lunch or dinner makes sense to enjoy the views of the skyline without the added costs. Love the tour . All the best. 👍👍 Jim and Harriet
Great point. It costs about $50 just to go to the main deck, so going to the restaurant which requires a $75 minimum spend pp and includes admission to the deck is a good deal.
I took my daughter to 360 for her birthday 3 months ago. I went with Asparagus Soup. Chicken Supreme and Chocolate Terrine. Everything was excellent (7/10 food) service was amazing and the view is 10/10. Great video.
Toronto is AMAZING !!! Haven't been back in years and I want to. The place is eerily clean and a ton to do. The CN tower is a great tourist spot. Good video !!!
Glad you enjoyed it. We went there as a family on my parents 50th anniversary, had a blast and the best picture with my father ever. That place brings great memories to me. ❤
I’m glad you enjoyed the 360 restaurant. It was refreshing to see that you ordered something besides a salad and steak. At least with your shellfish allergy, you can still enjoy squid or octopus. Great video!
I visited Toronto years ago, for Caribana with this restaurant speciality in mind when I researched for my trip. I would definitely recommend it’s well worth the experience, rotating while dining & the Birds Eye view. 🖤🔥
I agree that it's worth it! I think people should set expectations. It's not the best food ever but I do think the food is objectively good. And if you are planning to visit the CN Tower anyways it is 100% worth it imo as it includes admission to the rest of the tower
Been living in Toronto for years and this summer was my first time doing the CN Tower + 360 Restaurant. One of the best parts of making a reservation at the restaurant is skipping the super long general admission line. Probably 200 people were waiting in line for the observation deck when I went... meanwhile my party got to waltz right in. The food being great certainly doesn't hurt. Then we got to watch a Blue Jays game from above - so it was like having free baseball tickets too!
I always bring my family there if they visit from overseas , was always amazed of having still such great food in a "tourist trap" Hope it stays like this!
Ok as a Canadian The National Anthem at the end Classy touch. As a Torontotian Ya 360 is always good at least for me. Glad you had a great experience here in my Hometown. You welcome to come back Anytime. Thomas
Great review! We have a place here in Dallas (Crown Block) that got rid of the spinning aspect. When it was Wolfgang Puck 560 it used to spin. I love eating at height like this. Planning on trying Peak at Hudson yards next month just because of that
Wow, that Calamari steak looks really great. I never really knew they serve jumbo squids like that... think I'm gonna hunt for a NYC joint that offer those!
Amazing review UA! Really enjoyed your videos so far in my hometown! Glad you had a great time, CN Tower is definitely worth a visit for the views from the top!
Cool video! In the early 80s, my grandparents took my brother and I from Montréal to Vancouver and back by train. We were under the CN tower but didn’t go up it. We did have breakfast in the Calgary tower then lunch in Cloud 9 in Vancouver, both rotating restaurants. I'm pretty sure the Vancouver restaurant has changed it's name.
UA Eats has been around. He's a good gauge of things... We all love his dissecting reviews and his sincere honesty. He's not easy to impress, simply because he has had the benefit of experiencing more than most people could. I've been there but not ordered the same things you did. It's a good restaurant but personally a little overpriced in Toronto, i've found with 90 dollars you can buy better steaks in the area, but the view is amazing. Glad you enjoyed it!
For sure it's not among the best restaurants in Toronto, but I do think it's a good one. It is expensive but if you are planning to visit the CN Tower anyways I think the price is quite reasonable. If just going there to eat maybe a bit less so
@@uaeats It’s a good restaurant, well cooked as always, lacking a little in really good flavour, but with that price I’m looking for the best in the city. And this is unfortunately not it. Still a great place to eat though for the views alone, so I’d say worth.
Lived in Toronto all my life, and tried it for the first time about 2 months ago! I was surprised at just how much I enjoyed it. It took me a while to realize that the whole restaurant rotates... a great experience if you want to take in the complete Toronto skyline.
UA I hope you grow out of your shellfish allergy. I had a terrible allergy to shellfish and crustaceans while in my 30's--and almost died a few times--but when I was tested at 45, my shellfish allergy had disappeared. Definitely get tested every few years. You might have a lovely surprise. 😊
Yes, it's expensive, but considering the price of admission, it can be a value priced higher quality meal. IMO, it's a great (if not the best) way to enjoy the view and experience the tower.
UA love your vids but recently both my smart TVs are playing in different languages with your most recent vids. Doesn’t happen on iPhone but two different smart TVs tell me it’s something on your end. Both TVs settings and location are correct in English and US. Can you shed any light on This?
Very fair as always , and amazed at the food quality considering it is very touristy . Now I dare you to find even decent food in that world famous Niagara Falls , it’s horrid .
Since I no longer work downtown, I've lost touch. Toronto is most famous for it's roast pork sandwich but all the best places are in the suburbs. UA you have to take Tina to dinner at Piano Piano, the raviolo is outstanding.
I’m thinking that Michelin inspectors should implement the “UA squint” policy when judging a restaurant. If he does it, it’s worth a drive out of your way. Another great vid dude. 🎉
@ out of any number of potential stars, I’d weight the UA Squint to be worth 20% of the final decision. Food, wine, decor, service, and the “UA Factor” ✌️💪
The place looks similar to the interior of the skylon tower restaurant in niagara falls. That place is a bit more touristy, however. If you ever get back to Philly, check out JG Skyhigh at the very top of the comcast building.
If you have money you can let go of it's a fine experience to have, but if you care about your money a lot it's an experience that's also worth it to not have, the cost of the items are all marked up quite a lot, it's a luxury experience to be sure that a lot of "normal" people try to experience once. I use to work in this restaurant when I was a teenager, so I got to see a lot of what happened behind closed doors. A lot of the servers, and kitchen staff over work themselves in terms of the duration they work - the servers would regularly make assumptions about which customers would tip, and would not. (The assumptions were often correct.) A lot of members of staff use to sneak smoke breaks in this tiny room near the dishwashing station. (Can't exactly just exit the tower quickly so if you're addicted you'll cave, don't let the manager catch you.) It was an alright job.
A terrine is a meat spread ,we have a classic one for the hard working man when its cold winter time its called creton its amazing ! My haunt always buy a bunch when she comes visit us in the eastern part of Canada .Cuz there's nothing like it in the middle and western part of Canada.
I am from Toronto. And I have never been to 360. Maybe I should take your review to heart and give it a go. P.S. not surprised you found Barberian’s didn’t live up to expectations. It has become ridiculously expensive and quality of the meat is not anything special.
