F22Videos Great job! Thank you for posting this! It took me back to my childhood. I was competing in point karate at the time and saved my allowance to buy Superfoot’s tapes from Black Belt or Inside Kung Fu magazines! Great memories! “Superfoot”, Benny “The Jet”, Don “The Dragon” were warriors!
I was lucky enough to have a seminar with him once as a young child. I'm just as impressed with him now as I was then. I noticed his stance, posture, hand positioning, and general approach is much like that of point fighter even when he's in the kickboxing ring. For instance, he fights mainly with his front foot and front hand the way point fighters do. And he was a successful point fighter before he became successful kickboxer. His style reminds me of Pedro Xavier an enormously successful point fighter in the 90's.
Bill Wallace's bio shows that he studied Shorin-ryu Karate while serving in the U.S. Air Force. If you believe his bio to be false or are accusing him of lying I suggest you make those accusations to his face, although I would not recommend it.
Q" Cam a good middleweight KO a heavyweight? Or will the 165-lb man just end up pissing off that 260--lb man? :Could bill in his prime have KO'd Joe Lewis in HIS prime?
I like the way you explained every technique. we have a saying in our system KISS Keep It Simple Stupid.you made it easy for anyone to understand. Thank You For Your Time Sir..
James This sounds very interesting. Would you consider arranging with me a way to post the video of what you are talking about please? Bill has allowed me to use his content, so it's up to you. dave
Experts (like Bill Wallace) understand the details so clearly - and can explain them as a result. Benny Urquidez's videos are similar. So cool how these masters share what they know. Thank you for this presentation, Mr. Bill!
Good tip but there are times when you WOULD move y our shoulder just to get the other guy to react...but you're not throwing your punch or kick till AFTER he's committed. Just don't suddenly drop the shoulder every time. Advice from an ex-world champion kickboxer. Priceless. Bill is one of the few ex- champions of his calibre willing to give his time to teach (even if it is income). Chick Norris doesn't. Actually, I think he's the only one that never did. All the other "legends" did and still do today.
Bill Wallace is certainly one of the greats, but at 5:00 he is demonstrating a backfist, not a jab. Also, in the beginning he says he'd rather be quick than fast. Quick is the amount of time and effort it takes to reach maximum speed; fast is WHAT that maximum speed IS! Not either one, but BOTH together is part of athletic superiority!
I have found that when striking uniformly with pulling back your punch when done striking at the exact moment, when you should, there is a natural movement of the forward strike and backward pull back to the original position. They will line up and all what goes into the movement of the strike and pulling back of the strike. The difficulty is to be prepared to allow your striking hand to spring back to the same location where it left from in less then a second after you strike. The strike causes a reaction to pull back right away. If you don't do this you are not properly reset to strike again. A lot of boxers do this and leave their arm hanging out of position and do not reset fast enough to strike again and are not in a defence posistion to protect themselves from a counter strike. .
Getting him to compare on the first UFC was inspired. Of course, it's possible that he knew what was going to go down and was faking his suprise but every time he started discussing the superiority of someone's striking ability, they got taken down and submitted.
I still think that you have to have the talent or gift inborn in you to have the speed and flexibility to execute these techniques. Repetition drills and forms are just icing on the cake for Bill. Still impressive, good fast and strong for a Five O.
Smart, well spoken, highly accomplished, and a considerate gentleman to boot - Bill remains a mighty rare combination.
Bill is such a great guy. Very polite, respectful and knowledgeable. Was very lucky to get to train with him many years ago.
me too
the camera makes him look funny, XD, also he is really good 4 his age, and he was an early pioneer of bringing karate and the martial arts to America
Thank you for uploading.

Bill Wallace , not only a Great kicker, but also very smart.
🤙🏼🙏
Thanks to you and bill for these excellent videos! Much appreciation!
He teaches exactly what made him so tough to fight, other fighters know what he's going to do, and he STILL beats them! This is a great fighter!
I would consider myself a good kicker. But even at his advanced age. He leagues ahead. What a legend
Hey thanks for the videos man! Please keep them coming very helpful and a lot of information
I loved studying under him in the 70'ies. Great instructor and person. He worked us hard and he was our friend.
Every word out of his mouth is law.
"Dont be strong, be quick"!! . Thanks master Bill
Funny how karate method with boxing style hands is the most prominent martial art today in ufc. Mcgregor, wonderboy. These move like Wallace.
This guy is good in explaining things.
So ahead of his time :-)
He is a comedian when he explain some of these things like at 28:51
Very nice foot technical master oss

Great coach and fighter!!!! thank you for downloading this.
be carefull with mothers who are making cookies
After 3 hip replacement surgery's... Anything Wallace teaches scares me.
Bill Wallace is listed as having trained in classical Okinawan Shorin Ryu. But full contact tournament style looks different.
I so live Mgmt Wallis teaching style in all his videos. How he breaks it down and explains what to do, how to do, and why to do.
damn Wallace is good. really good.
Kicking starts at 23:10
chrome077 Why wouldn't you want to listen to his explanation of the difference between quickness and speed?
Bill Wallace's bio shows that he studied Shorin-ryu Karate while serving in the U.S. Air Force. If you believe his bio to be false or are accusing him of lying I suggest you make those accusations to his face, although I would not recommend it.
seems like a good way to set up the really hard shots
Thanks for making this Superfoot Wallace, it was a great instructional video. :)
I hope I'm in that good of shape at his age.
Q" Cam a good middleweight KO a heavyweight? Or will the 165-lb man just end up pissing off that 260--lb man? :Could bill in his prime have KO'd Joe Lewis in HIS prime?

A True LEGEND..
That's exactly how Ali through his punches loose fast and sharp.
@ 10:25 he introduces the famous mayweather shoulder roll for defense.
Great tutorial. Thanks for sharing this knowledge.
I'm not much into striking arts, but notice how relaxed he is...that's where the power and speed.
me too i sparred with him except i caught him with nothing
dunno if he was taking it easy on me but i had i real tough
time with him
nice
That bicep could antagonise almost any muscle and get away with it!

I am a scrumptious guy around for the girl when I train.
He's wrong about muscle fibers determining speed but it still does help to practice getting the motion down.
wunderful is better

Good tips i didn't get my rusty sheriffs badge serviced. Yes im male
A good example is powering into a wall creates damage but speeding into a wall can create much more
Man, how old is this guy? Seems to keep up well while getting up there in age.
i know its spelled incorrectly, come and tell it to my face
Very nice video. High performance. And as well 99% of his techniques concepts come from Bruce lee JKD.
LOVE IT!!!
"i've done this a coup,e of times." genius
