    Great video, Rick. Those flush valves seem to be quite prone to wear and minor leakage. We just replaced our valve, too. So happy I didn’t need to pull the toilet! 🥽💩🤢
    Really great tips about repairs and parts. I think I’m gonna grab a couple sail switches to add to our kit. 👍👍

    Rick,
    I now need to replace the “shower sweep”. Where did you purchase your replacement? Can you send me the link?
    TIA!

    We have a 2010 27 fb International. We carry spare latches/parts for lockers and cabinets. We do a lot of traveling, last year over 10,000 miles. Latches and hinges need to adjusted and occasionally replaced.

      Hi…great comment. Spare latches are a great addition to the parts bin. We keep an assortment on hand at all times. Thanks for watching and safe travels.

    How funny! We have the exact same generator! We love it!!

      It is a great generator as long as the operator remembers how to start it. 😂. Safe travels guys

    What brand of air conditioner is that? Is it a 2000 or more to run the air?

    • @thewrightlife
      @thewrightlife  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The AC is a Dometic with an Easy Start installed. The generator is a Firman dual fuel generator (Gas or LPG ) from Costco. The generator can power the entire trailer with no problem.

    Another great video. Can you please help me understand what actually goes wrong with the water inlet?

    • @thewrightlife
      @thewrightlife  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is a plastic component and is prone to leak over time and can cause water damage to your AS.

      @@thewrightlife - Thanks Rick! Just ordered. When I clicked on the “more” link in your video it would take me to a library “RV Short takes” - weird. All good 👍! Off to the gym.

    Two tips on the shower sweep. (1) Order the small hard white plastic block from Woodland that installs under the hinge side of the bottom door frame and raises the whole door a bit. That reduces the scissor action on the sweep between the door and the metal threshold. I bought two blocks and also installed one on the opening side to support the weight of the door while on the road. My particular door required me to reduce the height of the second block on the opening side. Super easy install using pre-attached VHB. (2) Trim the height of the plastic wiper on the sweep to just protrude below the aluminum threshold lip by only about 0.1”. That’s all it needs to redirect the water back into the shower. When done like this, the sweep undergoes less stress and redirects the water best if you orient the wiper on the inside of the shower; opposite of what you did. I wish there was a way to post photos but let me know if all of this makes sense. Contact me on Addicts if photos would be helpful.

      Great suggestion do you have the part number or item description for the blocks. My door sweep also failed after 1 year and now need to replace for the second time

      Great tip. We’re on the road right now but I will look at ordering the parts and trying to adjust the door and sweep as suggested. Safe travels.
