I really like these older units as they are typically larger. This particular unit is a really good one in a great location.
View is so so but the unit is ok. Hillside 4 is still a better option though
I think the noise is always worth mentioning in nimman. The airplanes flying overhead constantly until midnight is annoying. I’m sure some places are insulated much better than others.
Nice big unit.
Awesome! I loved being in the Nimman Area last summer, it has some great vibs and is always interesting. A little bit of a walk to old town though when it is hot.
for trips outside of nimman, best to rent/buy a motorbike.
this lets you to participate in the thai cultural practice knows as
รถติด (roht tid) AKA traffic jam.
luckily, you can get out of it more easily on a motorbike.
spacious, stylish apartment. nimman is a top place.
~
unfortunately, air quality in chiangmai can be atrocious.
if i ever go back, it'll only be outside of burning season.
I am just so excited for each of your videos! I am visiting in May to scope out everything with my partner. Hopefully we will be expats in three years when he retires! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Thank you 🙏
@@TheNarrowGate sent you a Thai tea
Very spacious and seems to face a quiet road which is nice!
I wonder if they will put a sofa in the living room, and whether bed sheets/pillows are included when you rent....?
Contact the realtor, they would be able to let you know. Link in the description. 😊
Some nights the noise is unbearable. The Airplanes noise is bearable but the lived, bar goers screaming and loud vehicle noise can be really loud.
That is why I would NEVER rent in the center of any town... Its a noise NIGHTMARE...
@@LJ-jq8ogsensible but be aware it’s easy for a quiet street to suddenly host a bar, which bring karaoke and screeching females. Plus areas of Nimman can host noisy music festivals, admittedly nit each night, but it pays to do some independent research before renting or buying
@@ianrobson3713 Tell me about it because I live 100 feet from this building. Smartest thing i did was not to signa a one year contract. I can move with just a 30 day notice. I would say be careful before signing a one year rental contract.
@@ianrobson3713 👍 Understood and thanks !!!!
@@mikeparker6322 That is key ! I rented an apt for my son for 5 months... BUT the fine print said 3 month exit notice... They almost hosed me for another 3 months !!! Luckily I stood my ground so MINIMAL notice on departure is a KEY term !!!!
Thank you!
Sorry to be that person, what camera do you use good sir, you've got some nice bokah for a handheld
iPhone 14 Pro
Looks great but that'd be over half my monthly teaching salary. Hoping to find a cheap basic studio for $200 in Ratchaburi where I'll be.
hope thailand will realize thailand is nice because its Cheap. if it get expensive i may aswell go to america, australia, europe, maldives or anywhere else
No, Thailand is nice because it is great. On top of that it is inexpensive. And there is nowhere in America where you can rent a one bedroom in a building with amenities for $550 in a walkable beautiful city surrounded by coffee shops.
Thais are also nice and you can’t buy that.
There are lots of places that are cheaper than Western countries. Thailand has much more to offer than just cheap housing. How about the friendly people? Delicious food, etc.But by all means, you're free to live wherever you like.
