Absolutely. I haven't been able to get into the EW aspect of the update yet, but I did mess around in the 24 for 15 minutes or so and hit 60k feet lol. Bro made a spaceship.
@@SgtMud It's not really called battlefield 3 or anything related. If you go to setup a singleplayer match it's one of the official maps that the dev made for the T-55. There are 4 or 5 of them and it's one of those.
@@Adelic1 i tried a lot of vr controller only flight games, and they're fun but i prefer hotas too much, feeling something with resistance in your hand while piloting is too much better. unlucky cos i dont want to study to play dcs lol
@@golem_videomaking The only other VR flight sim I've tried using VR controllers on is DCS and it was pretty bad. In VTOL you just set the base of the controller down on your thigh and tilt it left/right/foreward/backward and it functions almost exactly the same as an actual hotas but with the added bonus of being able to pick your hand up and flip switches and press buttons. I recommend you try it out if the game goes on sale and just refund it if you aren't a fan. Just make sure to stay under 2 hrs playtime and under 2 weeks since purchase.
@@Adelic1 oh nonono, i didn't mean dcs, is too complicated and i dont want to study to play a game lol. check out ultrawings series and Warplanes series, both full and only motion controller for interaction and hotas too. very funny to play, i spent tons of hours playing them, but as just i said i switched to full hotas with a lot of bindable switches boxes for mfsm and star citizen, having a true hotas and real switches to use with your hands is still to much better, you know immersion, tracking, the resistance of true objects ecc. give a chance to any proper hotas setup and you'll never come back. anyway for the price it has vtol probably earned a try
Unfortunately no. The game is made by one guy and it's pretty time consuming to port the game to another platform and continue to support both versions.
I have the HP Reverb G2 + Index controllers. Microsoft is shutting down the software and driver support for WMR headsets (which includes the Reverb) in the next couple of years so I can't really recommend it anymore. Best option is the Quest 3, or Quest 2 if you're on a budget.

VTOL is VR controller only. It's implemented very well. I wouldn't want to use a HOTAS even if it was supported.
