      LOL 😅 I'll remember that. Sometimes I worry that the noise is going to be super distracting, but in the end the microphone tunes it out and you can barely hear it in the finished video.

    Hi Miss Betsi, watching this quick before catching your next live. I was part of the love when you started this too. I taught myself how to crochet when I became disabled and no longer able to work. My Mom was an avid knitter, so I grew up watching her doing that, but it never grabbed my interest. Then came the year 2016, November even…..my Mom was diagnosed with a mass in her heart and lung cancer. About 2 weeks later, just before Thanksgiving, my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 small cell lung cancer. So between my Mom and my husband, I was always with them for appointments, treatments, and unfortunately, hospital stays too. Since they both have passed away, I’ve not been able to start crocheting again. Your voice is so calming and soothing for me. I’m hoping that by drawing I can start being present again…..can’t wait for the next live! I have 2 male orange tabby’s that I took in when my Mom died……they bring joy to my life.

      I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how painful it is to lose loved ones, especially to disease. I'm glad you've found a little joy in having kitties in your home. I'm also happy to help with drawing and doodles. Every little bit helps when it comes to your mental well-being 💚💙💚

    It’s my therapy. I enjoy the soothing rhythm of creating lines and designs as I ink. I enjoy the dimension that I think I create without a plan to. I lose interest fast in working up a planned design. I too love black and white. Great video! Fun to see! Thank you.

    Thank you SO MUCH for addressing the question of what you do with your drawings. So many of my friends have suggested I sell my drawings (and/or my quilts) and I have resisted. "But you could supplement your retirement income!" No, no, no! That is not why I sew, crochet or draw! I do it for my mind. It calms me. Period.

      @betsi_jae  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes! Peace of mind doesn't need to be turned into a monetary pursuit. Its understandable that your loved ones would want you to have more wealth, but if you feel you have enough, then that's what matters.💕

I work in watercolor and I'm creating color separating granulating mixes. So fun! -But then you have to wait for the paint to dry, haha. I was going to learn to crochet. My wife loved doing it but she died before she had the chance to teach me. We knew each other for 11 years. She was American and I’m Canadian. We chatted daily for 9 years. She got a compression fracture in her upper vertebrae and couldn’t do much of anything. Her family wasn’t very useful in helping her and she lived alone so I did the only thing I could think of and quit my job and went to help her. We got married a few months later. I was down there for 18 months total before I ended up getting deported. She died 3 months after I got back to Canada. I didn’t know pain like that existed. That was about 16 years ago. Might be time to learn something new.
