I can't recommend these enough! I think BS-mall is coming out with their own site now because their brushes are becoming a little bit more popular.

Those unusable eyeshadow brushes are all amazing for blending out concealer and on-the-go powder touchups. For example, I carry one to buff out creases on smile lines and under the eye when foundation and other products start to break down. I got the idea from Tati, when she suggested that you can avoid dreaded cake-face by blotting and targetted powder application with a tinier powder brush. I use eye brushes similar to these interchangeably with the Real Techniques Deluxe Crease Brush and eyeslipsface Flawless Concealer Brush.
Some brushes that don't work for the labelled purpose can be good for baking or sweeping away fallout. You might make use of an unused face brush by making it a dedicated primer, moisturizer or mask tool.

Great video, thanks for uploading! I love finding Canadian youtubers because they understand the struggle of getting certain products and can recommend ones that I can actually get.
I just checked my Ebay purchase history and I bought mine in March, 2015, so I've had them for 2 years now and I definitely agree with you. I am actually amazed with the quality of these. I use them every day and they are still in great condition, they don't shed and they are soft.
I recently bought the Real Techniques buffing brush, expert face brush, blush brush and powder brush because of all the reviews and recommendation they have. I was expecting them to improve my makeup application, but I actually prefer these over them.
Some people say they love applying their foundation with the buffing or expert face brush, but I find the buffing brush isn't dense enough and feels kind of flimsy and the expert face brush is too small and narrow. Like you said, the flat top kabuki in this set is great for foundation because it is dense and soft. It makes my foundation feels even and smooth instead of streaky and sheer like it feels with the buffing brush.
I also recommend the 15 piece set, it's around $25 and I use 6 of the brushes every day, which are the large powder, tapered face, powder/blush, tapered highlighter, small tapered blender and short shader.
The large powder brush is much softer than the Real Techniques powder brush, which I prefer. The tapered face brush is similar to the Real Techniques blush brush too. I use them for bronzer rather than blush, I prefer the Jessup powder/blush brush for applying blush(it's domed). Again, the tapered face brush is softer and I feel like it blends bronzer better.
Hopefully that's helpful to anyone who is looking to buy either of these 2 sets. (:

It can be so hard to find the same stuff in Canada that youtubers from the US talk about! Thank you for the helpful post! I really want to check out the 15 piece set because I love the set that I have so much! I agree with you about the buffing brush and expert face brush from real techniques. Although they do have some really great brushes, I don't think their foundation brushes are the best, especially because they aren't as soft as these ones.

I strongly agree!! BS mall kabuki brushes are awesome!!! :) I am excited!! they are softer than sigma brushes! They apply foundation like a dream!

I'm also in Canada and trust me ... SHAPE TAPE is well worth the wait and price!! I have concealers from high end brands, including IT Cosmetics, as well others from Tarte, but nothing has the staying power of Shape Tape, and you get a TON of product. I use it for concealing, contouring and sometimes as foundation, and I've had mine for over a year! My favorite drugstore concealers are by Maybelline (and they are constantly coming up in TH-cam Beauty Gurus Faves as well): Fit me and Age Rewind. The age Rewind is good for puffiness and the Fit Me is nice and creamy and supposedly comparable to Nars. You can get both at Walmart or Shopper's.

*It also works well as an eyeshadow primer and for doing a cut crease. The only con is it can be a bit drying under the eyes, so use an eye cream first.

I love the maybelline fit me, but perhaps I will have to put in an order for shape tape! I just hate waiting for orders hahaha, but if you say its worth it! :)

I could definitely do that video! Thank you for the request :) my favourite brand of makeup brushes at the moment is morphe. I know there is a lot of controversy over discount codes and quality of product, but I personally love morphe and I've spent all my own money on their products.
