@@heatherann1560I feel like that might be exactly what he’s saying 😳 Unfortunately, I know what he’s talking about. I am 2 years younger than my brother. When I was about 8 my parents would put my brother in charge of me when they were at work. This meant that I had to go and do whatever he did all day. We’d go to the pool with his friends and they thought it was “fun” to see who could catch me under water and put their finger inside me, under my swim suit. My brother didn’t really participate but he’d let his friends do this to me. There were other versions of this “game” depending on the situation. I never told because I was threatened by these boys. One of the boys was a little older and more aggressive at this “game”. I’m fairly certain that he’s become a sexual deviant at best, predator at worst as an adult. Watching these gives such a personal insight into the mind of the psychopathic mind of the monsters who commit the most heinous crimes. The most common theme I love noticed is that NONE of these men come in and willingly just admit to what they’ve done. @@LDrosophilaas a bartender, I can confirm that you’re correct. Drugs only magnify personality traits and loosen their inhibitions while suppressing critical thinking. Im sure there are many ped0s who are able to suppress their urges due to fear of punishment, but you can only do that so long. Drugs or not, they will eventually offend.
But we do need to acknowledge that drugs do increase the likelihood of criminal behavior if you’re naturally drawn to criminal behavior. I do think it’s wise for criminals to be advised and sometimes required to be sober.
But I think the over emphasis on substance abuse gives the perpetrators a scapegoat. It actually serves the board well to bring this up. The illusion of a scapegoat is an excellent way to gauge their seriousness, and how they view themselves. They view themselves as someone who does “horrible stuff when I’m on drugs,” not as someone who does horrible crimes because they are horrible people, with trauma and psychosis they need to heal. Abusers always think this way. That’s why they all say the same dumb things. I find it interesting that never say they will stay away from children and refuse to be around children. I’ve heard some say they plan to get out and teach children foreign languages, become ministers, live with a family member who has children, etc. Literally no self awareness and honestly frightening.

To kill a mother infront of her child and then leave , demonstrates a total disregard for human life . The 18 month old child could have turned on the stove or walked out of the trailer . Image a child clinging to his mother's bloody dead body , not eating or sleeping until neighbors found him ! This inmate is a monster and he left too much out about his crime to the board . He needs to be assessed by a forensic psychologist and they should strongly reconsider if they will allow him back out on the streets. He behaves in prison , only because he has to .

This case is bizarre. Was he charged with sexual battery along with murder, because it seems the prison staff didn’t know in terms of programs, and a reasonable person would not allow violent offenders interact with vulnerable people. He seemed to really gloss over this “game”, and truly not acknowledge the horror of what he did. His supporters are very forgiving, I suppose it is easy to forget the nature of the crime if you are not her family.
