WOW!! So much great stuff. Very cool Leadbelly album and the Land of the Giants lunchbox. Oh man, the super rare He-Man playset was awesome. I will try to get up there myself. Good luck, I'm looking forward to the next video.
🤓😱 No kidding BH , like you said a lot of really cool stuff. A lot of nice comic books ; those Chamber of Chills are reprint goodness. Monster Times! A friend of mine was a monster maniac ; he collected magazines , photos ... As well as having a subscription to Monster Times , you'll enjoy it. I know what you mean about those - just discovered by us fans - hard to find record albums ; I'm a fan of spoken word recordings , as they used to be called , and I found a few that I paid $ 20-30 for only because I knew I wasn't going to find them again. That bowling patch , for me , was the special find of the day! Attached as it was to someone's personal history as well as to cultural history at the same time. There were local women bowling teams back in the 50s an aunt of mine was on one of them ; it was one of those put together by employees at her work place. You got a souvenir of herstory (history) there BH! Just seeing that patch put a smile on my face , maybe because when my aunt talked about bowling with the girls at work you could feel a -- non conforming to society rules at the time-- independence in her voice. 🤓 The kid in me got excited seeing that c😎😎l lunchbox.
As always, I love your videos. I went back to look at the video several times and it looks like the guy counted five bills, dropped one, picked it up and handed you six.
Which market if better for vintage odd paper items like Posters , stickers , Maps, high school year books, buttons, etc. etc. (NOT comics and magazines though) . Just wondering . Stormville. OR Elephant's Trunk . I'm about 2 hours away from both. more or less. I like toys too but as a re-seller ; Vintage toys are hard to get for REALLY cheap these days .
So cool you picked up Eternals #1. That book was impossible to find back in the 70s! I hope it’s in decent condition. Love the lunch box. I had a Star Trek box when I was a kid, hopefully I can fine one just for the nostalgia. I am glad you found some unique items especially the Lead Belly record.
I bought these Number Ones when they were NEW: Eternals , Ms. Marvel, Peter Parker Spectacular Spiderman. Omega , Nova, The HULK black and white magazine, The KISS comic book , and does ANYONE remember when drug stores would sell BACK issues bundled up in plastic bags and header cards back in the day ???
As always Chris I loved your videos.also the Eternal playset was outstanding, also superb Comic Haul including: 1.Doctor Strange(2nd series)#21,2.Doctor Strange(2nd series)#14, 3. Silver Surfer(3rd series)#50, 4. Eternals(2nd series)#1, & Sensational She Hulk(2nd series)#50, also thanks for sharing Chris keep up the good work and have a wonderful Thursday.🙂🏋️🦸💪🤛
Great video I saw that there was a monster film when Magazine with Planet of the Apes on the cover I probably would have picked that up but that's just for me but as you say collect what you like
The guy dropped his money when paying you. I think your dollar was left on the ground and get it take it up go back and look at the video and you will see. Either way it was a cool pick up
Ive been buying and selling at Stormville for years and I agree it used to be one of the best flea markets on the East Coast but the last 5 years has been tough. Elephants Trunk in New Milford CT is still going strong but has also declined a bit in vendors. I sell there every Sunday and do pretty good days. Stormville also cost considerably more. Even with two days, its no fun giving away $150 worth of stuff before you make any money.
The BUYING has declined GREATLY in the past 5 years. Really depressing . BUT let me ask you a question: I buy and sell "paper items and ephemera" like store signs , old stickers , banners from amusement parks , high school year books, advertising posters , etc. Is Stormville OR Elephants Trunk better for vintage paper items (NOT comic books and magazines though) . Thanks !! Which one ? I'm coming from like 2 hours away.
30:42 I LOVED LOVED LOVED The Monster Times when I was a kid ! It was still on the newsstand !!
Awesome bat chopper find and for a steal. And sweet wirl a gig. My grandparents use to have the classic one of the guy sawing wood.
No wonder Meadowlands was dead LOL. Great haul Chris!!
Laff a Lympics number 9. Oh boy, I’d like that in my PC.

I only caught the first 18 mins but eternals #1 vol1 for 3 bones well done my friend, even with the movie being so so that's a great book
Youd be the coolest kid in the cafeteria with that lunch box.

I really enjoyed the video. Also very much appreciate your approach, as it’s not always about value, or resale potential. Keep up the great work.
New subscriber. Great comic score.

That's all I have to play them on. I can't give you much because I need the money for comics
Cool. You should put the location link on the description in case somebody wants to take a drive. Days opened and time opening

Elephant Trunk is better. Stormville is only a few times a season. Elephant trunk is every Sunday.

Some of those comics would look beautiful if they were graded!
Could the bowling deco be for a weather vane?
omg bronzevill
Hey!!! I heard my buddy RJ at 4:25.
I loved the vid it was great 👍 but at 23:41 was that not fantastic four 1 across from him (it might have been a reprint too)

Which day is this flea market every Saturday or Sunday
1st to comment. Do you have a bag. LMAO. Bring your own bags
