Ikr! I lived in Barstow for a year and a half! Sand storms were amazing! And when it rains, it POURS!- and floods! 20 mins later you'd never known it had rained!

Mother Nature has scared me many times. Living in NC & SC. We get anything from Cat 4 Hurricanes to 10 ft Flooding & Ice storms. We deal with a lot here. Many of us have lost several homes, vehicles & family. It's scary

I experienced a sandstorm while living in Saudi Arabia. You can't run away from it! We sheltered in an abandoned petrol station, hiding behind counters away from the windows that shattered. After the storm passed and we returned to our vehicles the sides facing the storm were sand-blasted down to the bare metal! A terrifying experience!

I was trekking around in the desert for absolutely no reason by myself in the middle of the night. It was really dark. I felt like someone was watching me. Then…I heard movement like a twig snapping. in the middle of nowhere. It was even more dark. It was so scary. I froze for 40 minutes. I finally got up the nerve to turn on my flash light and pointed at the direction of the movement. It was a gigantic pork sword.
