When I saw Lara White, RIP pop up on my phone, I just knew I've seen her before. Then, I remembered that pretty lady, in the Castaway movie. So, I looked up the cast of the movie. That pretty lady, at the end of Castaway, was Lara White! Remembered? She said, "Where ya headed Cowboy? I never knew her or her music, till tonight. So sad, she lost her life to cancer in 2018, at age 52. RIP Lara.

Very few people among the younger generation know who she was and it breaks my heart. I see Shania Twain, Faith Hill, Deana Carter among others being discovered by kids on these reaction and first time listen videos, but Lari and Holly Dunn in particular seem to be getting totally ignored. They are both largely forgotten. There music is rarely played, so they don't recognize the names. If you could get them to listen they would be instantly hooked. I mean only 77 comments here on this video? That is so ridiculous. There should be at least thousands if not millions of comments. It really upsets me. Both deserve so much better, even at their peak both were severely underrated and under played on the radio I so want new fans to emerge and their legacy's to build.
I was just looking at the crossroad scene on Cast Away and comparing how it changed on Google Maps...lot more wind turbines in 21 years. Didn't realize she died.
2018 had a rough start between her and Dolores Oriordan dying. Ironically my only exposure to these great singers during my childhood years were Tom Hanks movies.
