Amazing talent. Her appearance in Cast Away was the capstone on the story. The look in his eye when he sees the wings logo on the truck you know what's next, but I would love to see that alternative ending. RIP Lari!

It was near Mobeetie TX. Nothing out there but nature's beauty. Just the place to live for a person like me. Wonderful interview. And it looks like we got our answer to Castaways ending. R.I.P. Lari, such a beautiful girl.

I remember first watching Cast Away and thinking at the end “ OMG, WHO IS THAT GAL... SHE IS SUPER CUTE, I WILL TAKE HER ANYDAY OVER CHUCKS FIRST GAL 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ Was sad to hear that she passed away. There are several TH-cam videos taken at that intersection and all I could think as I was watching was THIS IS RIGHT WHERE SHE WAS STANDING 😔 GREAT FILM THOUGH!!!

Charming, and tragic that Lari left us so soon. But I'm glad they deleted that final scene. Subtle and nuanced dimensions are left out of too many Hollywood films. The suggestive way the movie ends, granting the viewer the intelligence to put 2 and 2 together, is perfect.

I totally agree. "Too soon" - crazy. I think most of us felt that he would follow her, despite what that "sample audience" thought.
