    The Mazda 3. All time favourite from the 3 SP to the current variant. One look and it just oozes with a state of the art design. Good on the outside and magnificent on the inside. Anyway, good job to the both of you. 10 stars. Keep it up.

    Julian and James (Jon too actually if he likes it) should do a special episode to reveal their personal car and review it (eg. why they bought it)

    The hatch is 100% an enthusiast's car. Like Julian said, it's for those who are looking to stand out!

    Such pricing, only make more sense if it is a 2.0 litre.

      I should ve read yiur comment before buying! Now I ended up with a lazy 2.5L princess which I thought a handsome prince. I should ve stuck with the idea the marauder I30 N which cracks ans pops very chance. Hasty decision ends up with a lazy Mazda 😢

    As a long time Mazda fan, only the top spec 2.5-litre AWD version of this car makes sense. Preferably in a manual, unless you live in a very crowded and huge city. Families should avoid the hatchback, and go for the sedan - or even better, the CX-30 and preferably the CX-5. Or wait around for the CX-50 😸👍
    You sacrifice only a little handling for practicality, with Mazda crossover SUVs. With the CX-30, you get a better view and slightly more comfortable seating, ease(ier) of ingress/egress, and the back seating area is brighter and less claustrophobic - you loose those blindspots. Crossover SUVs also hold their value better when the dreaded time to let them go or trade them in comes. On the the diesels, they are only worth it if you do a lot of highway driving.
    Also, the rear suspension is not as simple as you think - read up on it. This new gen has a lot of work put into it, and the cabin is a very comfortable, quiet and nice place to be in. Seriously, even Mercedes & BMW owners/fans I know, are impressed and might start moving over, cause they see the value. Power/torque figures on paper and even if they are higher, is not as important as you think for real world driving. Band snobbery and Euro aXX kissing, is another thing though 😉 Personally, I like the way the more luxurious 3 and CX-30 has gone, and I hope they keep heading in this direction. It's hard to compete with some other budget Japanese manufacturers, and of course the Koreans and even some Chinese brands now - check out Geely cars for example.

      What about the reliability? Will it cost a lot to repair a high mileage car?

    • @hectoOut
      @hectoOut ปีที่แล้ว

      Don't bother with reliability becuase yiu won't be happy with the performance. It s a lazy car for a 2.5L potter. You ll be more frustrated with it laziness than anything else 😂

    sat in a mazda 3 couple times at the front passenger seat and at the back. i got the feeling of claustrophobia and got motion sickness really quickly. the design elements make the car very stuffy inside.

    I personally think that. It's beautiful the and everything is good and layering of Information displayed is inspired by BMW 330i why I said this because I watch both videos of this car and 330i it's the Same and it can be Inspired and For Mxd Control what I think it's useful and Everyone is Used to it. And Mazda can change to touchpad it can be Like Mercedes Benz a200 sedan . Technology is Advanced in Singapore and need to Try for cars like this can Try to learn with the Touchpad.

      Yeah the difference is the Bavarian money waster like to spend on something which isn't any better for the same product! Indeed most of the dudes at my work spent lots money on fixing their BMW and Merc after 7 years ownership while my Honda keeps going with no issues on the same period! If you look at reliability ranking all the German brands not in the top 5! Even the German themselves admitted it their car isn't reliable like in the 80.

    Felt a biased review. On one hand, you don't criticize it for having an underpowered engine by justifying that it's a "point A to B" car, and then you go on to say that it's justified paying $10k more, just for the "special" grey color. Rubbish back seat, no versatility in seats, average boot size, puny engine, and costs $120k+!
    A Honda jazz is probably more practical, with a better engine and proven reliability for 70k for the base version, and slightly more for the 1.5. Agreed that the interior and exterior might not be as aesthetically pleasing as the Mazda 3, but $50k cheaper!!! Put in a bit more money, and you have 2 brand new Hondas in your garage that'll hold their resale value really well. Mazda just trying to pull a quick one over people's head. Don't like road noise switch on music.

    Can't be right on the review! The 2.5L engine Mazda 3 2023 cant be worst than 2019 can it? It a carry over engine and styling and it should be bigger improvements right! NO it s a terrible car. Too slow and and lazy. I don't race at the traffic light but this car annoys the hell out of me. Lack of power at bottom end and needs to keep rev up and neither it has a top end power. It just lost the race to a much heavier SUV to the red line. Just very slow and not very exciting. It s a crime those idiots Mazda did to this car e.g stupid software which could not read the rev range and takes alot of times to think and by the time you rev out all the way the red line the needle drops back and yiu get nothing but just a little burst. It s got a veey shitty automatic gearbox ever .e.g. confusing, lazy and slide off which is worst than the CVT. Indeed I prefer my Honda CVT transmission now. It is smoother, gripping and rev maching. It s a shame this Mazda has so much potentials from styling, excellent interior design, great handling and body control, grip and point. Great steering feel. It just let down by a shitty automatic gearbox. Perhaps the manual stick would be more engaged but you still need to keep the rev up high at the expense of fuel consumption. Here are problems with this car if you decide to buy the Mazda 3. Very lazy car even on the 2.5L potter. High fuel consumption. Big rear pillars will tire you out over the time. Visibility is very poor yiu ll have to take extra cautions. I don't care the blind spot monitoring because yiu still crash into other cars if you don't check that little rear windows. It s too dark inside the car despite the red trim. It gets foggy quickly during winter. The audio system in the base model is garbage. Crackle and flat. The engine sounds like a cheap rent whining and lazy for a brand new car. Not very exciting engine note. If just look and premium feel you are looking for the this is the car for you but it s not very exciting car to drive. It s no crack and pop like thw i30 N. Yiu ll get very frustrated when an old van can just go ahead at traffic light!. And don't buy the Astina it adds extra weights to the car with the sunroof and subwoofer. Now you will start crawling with the Astina 😂
