I'm Spanish and this is the first time I've heard Greek people speaking English and you're absolutely right, we do sound very similar. At the beginning I actually thought that she must be Spanish for sure, she sounded like the girls from my class at school used to sound. Awesome stuff.

It's actually very common in europe if you're a student. Also the Erasmus exchange program is one of a kind on earth. It allows students to study anywhere within Europe at almost no cost.

Wouter, I noticed you improve a lot. Not only in your languages, but also in your conversations. I remember the first videos I saw of you, in which you sometimes were cutting off the conversation to blurr out something completely different, I guess because you felt you were out of vocabulary to say more. Your conversations feel much more natural now, that's a big thump up from me!

How do you stop yourself from stopping when you’re successfully talking in another language? I can think and talk in Spanish but I keep stopping myself by saying to myself “wow I’m speaking in Spanish” and this breaks my concentration and fluency. Do you have any tips for me?

As an American it’s strange seeing all those young people smoking cigarettes in that group sitting in the park. Most vape if anything.
