G.I. Joe originally came on in 1983 and 1984 as a miniseries before becoming a full syndicated series in 1985. Toei in Japan did the animation for the United States market.
As for Transformers, Toei did the animation as well for our market. But it was so popular over here they brought the series to Japan and didn't even change the background music! It remained that way until we ended Transformers with the abridged Headmasters we did and the Japanese market went into a totally different direction with Headmasters, Masterforce, Victory, and so many others.
Inhumaniods! I loved that series! Gave me nightmares as a kid and I had to watch more of the series! I bought it on DVD many moons ago and still have it.

Hopefully, if Warner Bros. does reboot Silverhawks, they have the right mind not to make it like Thundercats Roar).
I like your ideas, however, I doubt we will see The Power Team rebooted due to using various video game characters from various arcade games that at the time were licensed to Acclaim to make NES ports, and Captain N would be cool, but chances are it would be mostly Nintendo characters if the company doing the reboot does not want to bother negotiating with Konami and Capcom to bring in Simon Belmont and Mega Man.

"Bullets replaced with lasers because it was a kids' show". That made me giggle since I was 12 (1984). They aren't really lasers, they are more like a form of Star Trek's magical stun phasers. I was introduced to what lasers did, what they would do when I was 10. If a small portable weapon could fire an actual laser, it would burn right through the flesh, flame it out, and once it hit the liquid inside the body, that would instantly evaporate... cause that part to explode. Lasers would not be like a Star Wars lightsaber, like a super-hot knife that sears the wound from bleeding while cutting it. It would be like hitting you with an extremely explosive round that penetrates until it hits something that can boil then it goes BOOM. Those "lasers" were magical G-rated weapon fire, not lasers. Guns firing bullets would be far more kid-friendly than actual laser guns.
Galaxy Rangers was one of my favorite cartoons at the time. It just eventually got too cheesed before it stopped being produced, probably why it died. So I guess why that cartoon didn't make this list.
Defenders of the Earth, they upgraded Phantom from his canon, reduced Mandrake, simplified Ming and Flash's canon (omitted most of it), and for some reason made Flash respectable for that alliance as if the Defenders were an Avengers knock-off with Flash being Captain America. Aside from that, the writing was brilliant and totally made their own top-tier interesting canon... and it was an 80s cartoon, 80s cartoons really crapped on the source material by being too kiddy-kiddy for the most part. They totally need a comeback... NEED A COMEBACK! Well, and make Phantom their Black Panther/Batman type while removing the rich-and-powerful thing. Phantom had nothing but his brilliance, his total physical fitness, and his reputation of being unkillable because his role always has a prodigy, an understudy of sorts. He was the original Dread Pirate Roberts, metaphorically speaking.
Transformers was a great cartoon and did the lovers of the toys justice... except how the cartoon painted the red van character and the white ambulance character, they looked like actual robots while the toys looked like abstract sculptures in robot form. They were the same basic structure but painted differently. So, when the movie came out, killing those characters was just a cleanup. Also, that movie made Megatron go from being a late WWII gun transformation to being Galvatron who just transforms into a cannon... the characters grew with the original fans. Too bad the modern Transformer movies murdered the original concept.
The TMNT cartoon was great. However, the source material was far more adult and far darker... and it was originally a parody of comic book reality. It got popular fast and was highjacked by kid cartoon writers. Fortunately, Paladinium Books had a great original canon pen-and-paper tabletop role-playing game related to the original work. The TMNT cartoon was equal to the original TMNT canon as the Superfriends cartoon was to the Justice League comics. Also, they were "ninjas" who abided by the Bushido (way of the warrior) code and not Inindo (way of the ninja). My Karate teacher was red-faced enraged by any talk about the blurring between those lines. The Ninja/Shinobi and Bushi are not at all the same kind of people. The Ninja/Shinobi is more trixter and assassin than any kind of fighter if they can fight at all. Their code is more mercenary pragmatic as honor than "real honor", more "face" and what we consider something like legal privilege like that between attorney and his evil dastard of a client. Bushi fight and do so with honor, clear, and without ambiguity. They are actual warriors, honorable fighting people, those who wish to follow a more "heroic" path. Nobody abiding by Bushido *can* be a ninja by ethical fabric alone. But, I digress. It was a kids' show and I had space alien knowledge for my age, relatively speaking.
I loved Voltron as a kid and that made me later hate Power Rangers. The Voltron stories were far more interesting and the Power Rangers always kept being like the "I'm a special wonderful kid" fantasy fulfillment that pansy kids ate up. When I learned that Voltron was a Power Rangers knock-off, I hated Power Rangers more... their mutant inbred kid was and is far better as a story core base. Voltron kept the door to adult things open and invited darker things, something that we could have grown with if Power Rangers didn't highjack the multiple-pilots giga-mech thing. It looked like the Pacific Rim movie, the first one, experimented with that.
As for G.I.Joe, from the big "for boys" doll I got in the 70s as a kid to the 80s toys I collected as an older kid because of the cartoon, I was, am, and always will be a fan. I giggle at the "laser bullets" and how the bad guys always screamed "Cobra!" to this day. Cartoons at the time still needed it to be black hats and white hats when fighting, kids were still considered clever animals in the care of their parents at the time... sarcastically speaking. I mean, I learned the alphabet and how to spell before I even started school because of "clever" adults spelling out things they don't want us to hear... as if it was some kind of unbreakable code for kids who regularly watched Sesame Street and the Electric Company along with a lot of other things on PBS. But, I digress... the 90s Cobra movie with Cobralah (if that's how you spell it) giving some reasons for the GI Joe canon to make sense, that was awesome. When the recent movies came out, I was all for it... at first. Bruce Willis being the OG GI Joe, the original "for boys" doll, a soldier, totally cool. Most of the movie scripts, totally GI Joe cartoon upgraded to a movie. However, dusting Destro... not cool at all. The nano-machines that rebuilt his face helping him survive to future movies (or future cartoons) would be totally cool and make sense of his "chrome dome".
As for He-Man, I think the original live-action flick decades ago killed that. He-Man's canon had many stories since then but, probably because of that movie, it never got popular enough for more than a few feature animated stories.
As for Bravestar, a great cartoon. However, his horse that can turn into his humanoid partner probably killed the idea. I mean, think of you and who you are... but you can transform into what your partner can ride as a mount. Would you normally be in your partner's riding animal form until he needs you in your natural form? Nope. Bravestar was a minority human in a position of power not normally afforded to him with his "free" mount behaving like one who thinks he's equal... but behaving like a slave in the end. As kids, we always saw his horse as "When he does not need his horse to ride, his horse can just transform into his perfect partner! That 'Indian' is the perfect cowboy!"
When you look at cartoons and kid sh^t as an adult, you see them far differently than you did as a kid. Pepe LePew is a sexually harassing guy who keeps attempting rape, a rapist type. Wile E Coyote is a stalker, the murderous type,, and a comically failed one... the comically failed thing on the regular makes it kid-friendly. Yosemite Sam is an over-the-top violent gun-nut. Oscar the Grouch is a homeless guy... before the new incarnation of the Sesame Street's homeless guy by this current generation... dipsh^ts. Big Bird's imaginary friend (Snuffy) was totally real when no one else was around. His character was the only one who helped kids break their delusions by such episodes painting both sides right. The only great Scooby-Doo cartoons were the pre-Scrappy-Doo cartoons where all the monsters were actually people. Once Scrappy-Doo came in, OG Scooby-Doo died and was replaced by its cancer clone. Mr. Roger's Neighborhood... we all learned tons of stuff from him... but, looking back, we can all also see he used his demons to his advantage in helping to teach us. He made his alt-world one of wonder that was kid-friendly, he conquered his disquiet place to be one of tranquility. To me, he's a legendary hero. Meh... too many things to refer to, and this is merely a comments TH-cam section. So, I digress.
Centurions need both a reboot in toys and the cartoon. Transhumanism is the next issue and science fiction's job is to be head of that curve.
