My first car was a moonstone blue XR3i. I had it approx 18 hours before it was nicked and driven in to a shop front. Ahhh the heady days of ram-raiding! Great vid and your presentation is lovely :-)

Respect Damian, a deserved epic collection starting from very humble beginings. I love your channel & your passion for real automotive heros & legends. The only thing I would change is the F40, but understand your tough descision
Very interesting. The 993 was wonderful and must have been a significant moment. Times like this make you reflect on what is/was good and which are merely numbers.
loved this upload brought back memories , iv'e lost count of the amount of cars i had in the 80's but remember quite a lot,had a mg metro turbo - cant comment on how good it was as the oil light was always on.. back in those days a new car was usually every other week, alfasud ti's, mk2escorts, lancia coupes, plenty of weird oddball cars to buy too like mitsubishi sapparo's, viva magnums, opel manta's & monza's, all around £250,-500 budget was always under £500,rust was standard, road tax was optional!
Great video. Amazing list of cars with a bit of everything. Thank you for sharing. 718 Spyder and 488 Pista Spyder are my personal favourites from your garage. Would you consider a 911 R even though you’ve got the GT3 Touring? Prices have come down ;-) #44 guess: The Integra (Honda I’m UK?) Type R that you showed a glimpse of at the end of the video!
Hi Damian, hope your keeping safe, I cant agree more regarding the 997 Turbo S, as we discussed when I met you a few years ago at Simply Porsche, so capable and damn fast . . But so sterile and German lol . . at 30mph you may as well be in a Fiesta for all the lack of drama it offers . . On a sunny day the Porsche gets left in the garage and I take the Jag XKRS convertible, so much drama and theatre, sideways action lol and that thunderous V8 bouncing off Cotswold walls . . If it wasnt the only one ordered in that special order cream, I'd probably get out of it, but in that colour, so unusual. Another Fri, another brill video !! Take care guys and stay safe.- Ken 😁
Without wishing to sound gushy may I say your presenting has always been terrific Damien, yet with this video its on another level, hashtag respect, - entertaining & interesting video, that 993; what an epic achievement at that time.
Brilliant video, have been a fan of the Channel for well over year and for me this is one of the best videos because you've provided some personal insight to how you arrived at the fantastic collection you've now got. I'm a bit older than you guys and my Cars started late 70's and so I had 5 Mini's including two 1275 GT's. I then had 3 Metro's and I have to correct you because your MG was not the 'hot Metro', that was the MG Turbo which I had in silver and I have to say it was a gem and went well considering it was a tuned Mini 1275GT Engine. I too had a GTE Astra in White and the then in 1993 a brand new Red SRi Astra which was rubbish. I also had a new Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0, I was in Houston Texas at the time so it was very well suited and I loved it and Gas was only $1.5 a gallon!! Have since had 2 Golf GTI's and a Golf 4 Motion with a V6 2.8 which was lovely. My Car history similarities end against your super cars but Im really excited to say this week I have put a holding deposit on my first Porsche 911 993 C4 Manual 1998, one of the last with 57k miles on the clock in Silver. Once the lockdown is over I'm off to test drive it! Great channel guys, keep up the good work, its good stuff, honest and always on it.
Fantastic to hear from you, David. Sounds like you need to make a video on your impressive list of cars over the years . Good luck with that Porsche I’m sure you will love that. You are right about the Metro Turbo - the stuff of dreams!
Damian I really enjoyed that video. Not sure about the Prelude still but all others were great. Intrigued by car 44! Still longing to see a Ferrari 288 GTO arrive in the collection. 🤞 if car 44 turns out to be a 288 GTO then I will be 🤯
Loved this video Damien. Some solid choices mixed with some very unexpected ones (2x Astra's). My car history went from poop (1.0 Fiesta) to epic (Impreza RB5 & DC2 UKDM Integra & Phase 1 Clio RS 172) and back to poop again (2.0 TDI A3 from 2003) where as yours is going from strength to strength (minus the F40 sale). Car's I would love to see you get or at least drive include the Ferrari F50, Porsche 918 and/or Carrera GT, Clio 182 Trophy, Impreza 22B, R129 SL Merc (SL600 would be the best), the new Alpine and then some classics like an E30 M3 and a Pagoda SL.
Great episode again, glad I’m not the only one who’s first car was a MG Metro. Silly car with its four gears and manual choke but at the time loved it and look back at with smiles and fondness. Would love to try one again just to try it after all those years. As for your cars my favourites are always the Ferraris any of them
Love your content Damian. You have the best car TH-cam channel out there, please keep up the excellent work! It’s great to see your automotive journey and be brought along for the ride. If you ever have a open meet up for subscribers I would be the first one to come along.
Great video again. I've been wondering how you would fill the weekly coffee and biscuit in the conservatory car guys watch time. I was intrigued, background watching, on how your entrepreneurial skills happened so quickly to allow your passion to blossom. Well done you. Keep them coming.
That's a lot of cars big D cor brought back some memories... Renault 5 GT turbo ... to VR6... to 635csi.. then long line of 7s...Ah the life.. can't believe you haven't still got all your 911s... But I get it... Keep up the great vids... Hope we see Jay's list on same topic soon!
I loved the video. Always interesting to learn about a real car enthusiasts back-catalogue. I have a real soft spot for the Maserati Gran-sport it was such a pretty car. Also the Aperta is a wonderful thing. Can’t wait to see what the additional car is that’s coming to the Car Guys garage very soon.
Great review of your car history. Still not happy about the F40 being sold ! 😉 Love that 80sT shirt you’re wearing,. Will direct my wife to the store for my birthday next month. 👍
Good to see the 993 getting a special mention in the list - Midnight Blue with Marble leather is a stunning combination as well. Yours was very similar to my Dad’s (even down to the Turbo twists/clear lenses and Sport Seats) only his was Ocean Blue. Your support over on my Instagram page doesn’t go unnoticed either so thank you for that. Take care!
What a great video Damian, from one 'first car MG Metro' guy to another. I really enjoyed watching. My suggestions? 1973 Porsche 911 2.4S, Lamborghini Miura, E Type Series II 4.2 coupe. As for car 44? My money is on a Koenigsegg Jesko...
44th, looking forward to the reveal :-) Love your taste. Would take at least 3/4 of those myself too. All interesting pieces and cars with soul, that is what I like on CARGUYS - not only about numbers. Super.
Another great Car Guys episode. Like Damien, I had a silver with red 355 GTS. It looked like a spaceship, fabulous car to drive and what a noise. But costly to service. I belonged to a club and we had the same spec Stradale. OMG. Now I’m driving a 575M. Such a fabulous car...you should drive one Damien. Fabulous collection. Heaps of great Porsches, a 458 Speciale A. F12 TDF (wants to kill you). NSX. BMW 750, such a great looking car. And the 918 Spyder recreation. Black Rock’N’Roller. Thanks for sharing again, can’t wait to see the new addition.
Hi Damien, lust is such an evocative word. Go out and try one. A fabulous gentleman's GT. Comfortable, fabulous looks (Pininfarina design), bullet proof V12, and a bargain. A modern classic in my books. Cheers.
Great video Sir. Can’t believe there is no Peugeot 205 GTI 1.9 in the history book, or any kind of Golf. I too started with a Metro, but I had a limited edition Metro Monaco with John Cooper twin carbs. I learned a lot about driving in that thing. Quick enough for a 17 year old lunatic. Also can’t believe that there is no Aston in the Car Guys Garage. Looking forward to the day one arrives - but I agree that the V8 Vantage shape is the best from contemporary Aston, though it’s better with a V12 under the hood. Enjoyed that trip down memory Lane immensely. Here’s to more tins of beans.

Also, Damian looks pretty much same in every photo. Not sure which way around it should be, either you haven’t aged at all or you’ve always looked middle aged. 😉 Great content as ever. 👍
TheCarGuys.TV Ah yes! I’m picking up my 1996 Integra with 95,000 original miles from winter storage next week to sit beside my F-Pace SVR and C63S in the garage! My smile is just as big driving my 200hp Integra rowing through the 5-spd manual as it is driving the other beasts!
Wow that 993. Nice car !
Soooo nice
NSX - Stands the test of time - ICON - Great Stuff
It sure does
Oh should've kept that 993, looking forward to car number 44 (I'm hoping it is the 288 GTO). Excellent video - got to do Jason's next :)
Love it Damien , great to see the progression and passion. I covert your RR and rewatch the vid of its story often :) Thanks for sharing
Awesome episode! I am currently lusting after a 993!!
Wow! Really great video! Your collection history has been pretty much perfect! Purists dream list. Should have kept that 993! It was perfect spec!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow what can I say ... one of your best videos.... exhausting list ... great fun!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Another great video Damion interesting choices Metro to F40 !
The 911 Turbo for me very day. Your low mileage silver one is definitely my dream car. You have had an amazing array of cars. Great summary.
My first car was a moonstone blue XR3i. I had it approx 18 hours before it was nicked and driven in to a shop front. Ahhh the heady days of ram-raiding!
Great vid and your presentation is lovely :-)
Really enjoyed the show. Great and madly varied selection of cars.

Wow, what a collection, the only two that I'm not a big fan of would be the Jeep and the 488, excited for number 44. Well done👏
Thanks, Dylan
Harry's just been slagging off the F40, so don't worry no more!
Trent Trevorrow to be fair he just said it wasn’t a good road car.
simes205 That isn’t the first time I’ve heard that either.
F40 wonderful but not a car you want to use
