I think the Ferrari 250 GTO 🙂, which I think you also covered with Annette Mason a few years ago. Just class.
The California Spider all day long. I took my boys to the Technik Museum in Sinsheim, Germany last summer and in there they have the only factory RHD California Spider. I would happily offer up a kidney and an eyeball to take that car home. I recommend a trip to Sinsheim if you find yourself in Germany.

Max is like a fizzing bottle of car knowledge, you open it and it just explodes as a fountain of knowledge. What a guy and what a line of work to have built and created. Hats off indeed. Well done Jodie, great discussion indeed.

What a truly awesome sweet shop. I’ve heard of Max previously, but didn’t appreciate the extent of his collection or his impeccable taste and infectious passion. Thanks so much for sharing.
Hello Jodie! What a wonderful, live history lesson you - and Max - have given us all.. An amazing garage I'd love to be "locked up" in, with not only cars to drool over but rows of books there to read! Seeing the 'Daytona' convertible reminds me of watching The Gumball Rally at the ABC Cinema as a youngster... It outran the chasing helicopter! At around that time - the mid 70's - there was a local Edgware
neighbour who's daily 'smoke' was another beauty in Max's collection; a Maserati Mistral.. although not quite in the same condition. As for "what car I (we) would take for a drive"... Well, a quick "blast" of that 333SP would be a dream come true.. and I'd risk the jail time too!!
After reading your "comment" section, it's wonderful to read how much your many viewers, myself included, missed you and your unique work: And having just finished reading about the great Michelle Mouton's victory on the Acropolis Rally from 40+ years ago, the "Kidd in the Sweetshop" notifying me was like.. Manna from Heaven in my books!!

Thank you Jodie and Max for showing us these true remarkable cars each with a history were all jealous about. I do know the previous owner of the Lancia S4 Stradale and for me this is the icon in Max's collection, like the CLK GTR super rare and hard to find. Love how Max is so passionate about all the cars and he all knows from each car the details and facts. I'd love to visit this epic place if that ever would be possible and admire these stunning cars that are there.....
It is always wonderful to see the cars and collections on wheels. Though after watching this, my true respect came from the library! After years of helping in several libraries and being a novice librarian myself, my respect really came from the photo library. Truly impressive and thankful someone is keeping the history.

My fascination with cars began in Southport at the age of 5. In the early days of motorways there was a stretch of dual carriageway somewhere on the outskirts. Playing with some pals ( 5 yr olds were allowed out back then ), I heard this incredible engine noise and turned around to see what I know to be a 275 GTB accelerating hard away from a set of lights. Goosebumps, beyond logic but it began there.
That road from Chorley to Southport is fantastic. Starts with a mini Eau Rouge, through the villages then the humpback into long high speed curves through the fields and finishing with the dual carriageway. Superb drive, traffic permitting.

I love Max. I used to make sure to watch the auctions when he was auctioneer...... he also often popped up in auctions on Chasing Classic Cars......where I first came across Max

@@KiddinaSweetShop It's such a unicorn! But I really wish VJM drove it a bit after acquiring it from the Brunei collection. They deserve to be driven! I'm sure the tag of being the only Roadster in RHD means values really wouldn't budge even if it had a few hundred km on the odo.

When I was a little kid I saw a 12 in The DuPont Registry for sale at the Auto Panache in Florida. I pretended to act like I had a client who was interested in the car, and they would like some info on the car. A few weeks went by and they sent a brochure, and it had a salesman’s card stapled to it. I still have both. I wasn’t normally sneaky like that but I was that day.

Glad your back and what a entrance! I'm drawn to the white C Type Jaaaaaaag. My grandfather owned an XK120 and an XK150 from new and the C Type fits that era nicely.

What a collection of automotive art, such a wide range … I don’t have a solid number one, but in my top 3 was the one I already spotted on the thumbnail: the Dino 206S. Going shopping in that showroom, I could easily settle with my 2nd, 3rd, … choice.

What an anazing collection, I'm so intrigued to see those legendary cars stowed in the showroom and the racing cars that I like the most were the Aston DBR9 alongside the Ferrari 550 GTS 2003 Le Mans class winner, the ultramodern 458 GT2 with the inclusion of Marcus Grönholm's Peugeot 206 WRC.
I so enjoy your approach and love for the cars. Welcome back, with a bang!

So great to see you back on are screens totally love this first video back as this is one of my favourite cars of all time the lancia delta S4 read up on these for year found out some had been turned up to 1200bhp in a car that weighs I think rally spec 830kg that's totally mental even with 500bhp wound be nuts really looking forward to part 2😂 ..ps ..I'm still lucky though as I have an 1992 lancia delta integrale evo 1 with 400bhp 😎 keep up the great work jodie kid x

What a collection, incredible taste! they did not mention nothing about the Cobra 289... that brand with Fors V8s kicked the rear end of Ferrari several times in le Mans! The Lancias and the Daytonas are superb!
We could have talked for days about every car in there but had to keep it moving for the cameras!

Glad to be back Jodie! Another awesome show. The garage isn’t too bad either. What a dream place. Out in the country. This is my favorite era of cars. Not even remotely interested in modern super cars. Don’t care about their rarity either. They are so wonderfully designed.
