    The AUVA´s are GREAT. I had the 50´s for two weeks now and they replaced EVP´s and GAIA III´s. Now my speakers sound the way I was hoping they do, and never did before the Stack Audio feet. The music just flows, all the details are magnified and the depth and width has grown enormously. It´s just so more fun, relaxing and MUSICAL what I am hearing now. Thumbs up!

      Have to Agree! 👍 I also have the Auva 50's on my Ascend Acoustic Sierra RAAL V2 Bamboo Cabinet Towers. I was so impressed, ordered the Auva70's to hear for myself what differences/improvements might be had. Once I had experienced the 70s, Josh offered me the opportunity to return for credit either set!
      For Me, the 50s offer a full tonal bandwidth balance that leaves Nothing missing on the audio table...deep bass , mid base definition (speed, punch and tightness), midrange clarity and liquidity and top end openness and articulation...All with very natural realism and superb holographic 3D presentations (LIVE)! I find once a listening session is started, it is hard for me to shut it down or even skip through any cuts...I Have To Hear All of the Album (and many more)!! With the 50s, all music genre Sings and calls for my full, undivided attention!! The system and room Totally Disappear...I Am There with the Musicians in the recorded venue!!
      The 70s do take these characteristics a step up, but find I am missing the mid-bass kick (100 to 250hz)...it is there, but "anemic" at best! The midrange and treble are very clear, but somewhat too analytical and cold...not so musical or emotionally involving as per the 50s! The overall presentation of micro/macro hyper details, although greater and more open than the 50s, seems cold and hard and soon induces, to my ears, listener fatigue.
      No doubt the 70s (or 100s) with my system, in a different dedicated music room (not possible in my home), or with a different synergy of components, cabling or speakers, could Really Shine Superbly!

      @@TT-eo2isInteresting that you prefer the 50s over the 70s. I was actually considering the 70s myself, but now I am not so sure any longer. I struggle quite a lot with my softly suspended wooden flooring.
      Which type of flooring do you have?

    I had Stack Auva 50's under my One Thing Audio Quad 57's & Rupert stands they were so very good I wondered about upgrading. I replaced with Auva 70's within 2 weeks using Stack's return deal soon to have Auva 100's, the upgrade is very worthwhile, I have Auva EQ's 1 under my 13 Kg valve preamp & EQ 2 under my 25 Kg valve power amp the cumulative effect is stunning vast improvement in bass depth & quality separation of voices & instruments the sweet spot of Quad 57's mids & treble is now amazing but Quad 57's playing the deep bass on deadmau5 recording bought after my married son introduced me to deadmau5 though in my mid 70's well worth a listen my tastes really are eclectic. Looking forward to getting the 100's & maybe more EQ's.

    Great video Gaby. I have been using a similar product for years attached to the bottom of my Monitor Audio PL200s, namely the IsoAcoustics GAIA II. They make more than a subtile difference with the most noticeable being the improved bass extension and the effect of helping the speakers disappear as a point source thereby improving the soundstage. I also use their equipment isolation pucks, the OREO series, under my Audio Research tube amp. It demonstates the importance of resonance control and the decoupling of components from the listening enviroment.
    Cheers,
    Dave.

    The IsoAcoustic Gaias from Canada do the same thing but they not so heavy , they have suckers that grip to the floor. Bass , imaging and clarity does improve quite a bit. Worth the $

    I’ve got them on stereo REL G1’s, and my mains, what they did for the integration of the RELs was amazing, eliminated the final ‘subness’ and finished the seamless transition, similar results with the mains. The AUVA EQ’s did much the same under the components, I highly recommend Stack’s gear and their customer service is the standard the rest of the industry should strive for

    Very cool. I've been thinking of getting the AUVA 70s for my speakers as well, but I've also been toying with the idea of a diy sandbox base with a marble platter over Quartz and Tungsten sand. I'll let you know what I decide!

    I bought the 100s about a year ago. I really debated with myself for months before buying them and I still wonder whether the money would be better spent elsewhere, but I do agree that they impove the depths of the bass quite a bit and generally improve the overall sound.

    I spoke to a DIY who runs big 15-18" bass drivers, with Mid range and tweeter in a box on top, and he had great experience adding antivibraiton damping in-between. Just a thought.

    I wish they made them with casters so I could move my speakers around more easily. Manufactures need to deal with the issue that speakers are too damn hard to move and they need casters just like b&w does with their speakers.

  • @henrikhengerics6782
    @henrikhengerics6782 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Reason why to you think the AUVA 100 are overkill in your application?
    Is it because your speakers are pretty good at dampening, and that the AUVA 70 would be sufficient? Or because of the weight of your speakers, or price of isolators vs price of your speakers ?
    Would you please elaborate on that a bit more?

    • @Gabster1
      @Gabster1  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I am more thinking on price/value ratio I have heard good things of even the 50
      I wanted to say that you don’t have to buy the 100 to hear a difference.
      But if price or size is not a issue I would go for the 100

    Would it be better to use the 1300$ on these or on cables?

    • @Gabster1
      @Gabster1  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Definitely these bring a way more perceived difference then cables
      With Cables (unless they are very bad) you struggle to hear the difference
      With these isolators there is no question you will hear it.

      @@Gabster1 I agree. While both my IsoAcoustics IsoPucks and Cardas Parsec cables do change the sound for the better with my GoldenEar BRX speakers, the isolators make more of an improvement.

      It's pretty much the same thickness as the wooden pucks he had. Few centimeters of difference shouldnt be audible. Try it at home just by moving your head up and down. Check out other reviews. I have already decided before Gabsters' that I'm going to get the Auva 50s for my speakers.
