I absolutely love the fact that Hinata isn't actually playing in this arc. Having an outside perspective was probably the best thing Hinata could have to improve with his tunnel vision, before he only really thought about what he could do and what he wanted to do instead of seeing what others could do.
Darius really has this style of respecting whatever he reacts to and his analytical and critical thinking responses and reactions he has is truly incredible to watch. One of my favorite reactors hands down :)

This is one of the basics that hinata missed out on, he was never a ball boy, so he never got to watch people play, outside of him playing against them. So he never saw anything past just hitting the ball, even in karasuno since he had to be a vital part of the offense, they didn't have time for him to be a ball boy

It is also important for him because this is where he was able to learn how to observe his surroundings because that way he can learn a lot more things and earn more information that can help him in his plays in volleyball. Hinata really needs to improve his basics, footwork, he needs all of moves which are not seen to every person. Only good and experienced athletes can see this
