- We've launched a new channel, Food Tube Brasil, whooooo!!! And to kick it all off, Jamie has invited one of his oldest friends, Santos, to show us the beautiful and classic Brasilian dish - Moqueca. A delicious light fish stew, packed with a medley of fish, layered onions, chillies and peppers and coconut milk. This is the perfect dish for an early evening party before the dancing begins

its nice and refreshing to see food tubers cook with their foreign friends and not just english dishes over and over again. Santos talking in his native language was fine with me reading the subs and I enjoyed it more strangely. Definitely attracts non English speaking viewers. Keep it up!
Jamie, I can't even express my hapiness right now, I'm almost crying! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that you were making brazilian food. This is AWESOME! I'm brazilian and I absolutely LOVE you guys, I could never imagine that one day you guys would acknowledge the existence of our country and our food, lol. I made this using fresh fish from Swansea market(Wales) and it was amazing, I have been making different fish meals from around the world and must say that this is a favourite. One variation served it with lemon rice.
I am very proud of Jamie for opening a new channel just for us brazilians. What an honor!

I had a pleasure trying different Brazilian food, and I have to say it's all so amazing! But Moqueca, Pastel de queijo and Pao de queijo are definitely my favourite!

Here in Brasil we have so many kinds of recipes, in every region there is some different food. I would like to thank you guys for bring this channel and tell that im sure there will be a a plenty of good recipes to show here.
For suggestion I think the english audio with subs is much more interesting than the dub, it would be good not just for the brazilians, but for all the food tubers (y)
Favourite Brazilian fish dish! So glad Santos has helped Jamie make this dish so accessible and easy! In Sao Paulo, I tend to use 'Meca' fish that stays firm as I find Cacao tasteless (sem sabor)! Would like to know what other fish one could use for Moqueca? Obrigada! Beijos. Laetitia (a Gringa)!

I ate this dish only with fish, and as part of my family is from Bahia they add azeite de dende in a pan and not in the other. Delicious, loved eating it but still want to eat more... I'm brazilian

Moqueca is a brazilian dish, from Bahia, and here, in Bahia, we put Dendê oil. If there is no dendê oil, it's not moqueca. But, looks like very tasty.
