For doing longer advancements, I highly recommend using the date skip method with a raid den. From what I remember, you can advance around 1,500 frames each time. Nothing else I tested advances that fast

@@n0obmaster695 it can be any den, even outside the area of your target. Fast traveling only consumes about 150 frames and environmental noise in other areas is very small. You just need to make sure you give yourself a wide enough window when traveling around and utilizing methods like date-skip. You can even reset your spawn if you accidentally trigger it by fast traveling, so it’s not a huge deal if you have leeway
at this point i've binged enough RNG manipulation content that I'm so much more surprised by the fact SwSh has a "summary click" feature. Kinda always wondered how to trigger those animations on that screen lmao At 3:28 the easy way to tell between these animations is literally to check them in GO *if possible:* the "fast attack" (spammable) animation is always the physical move animation, and charge moves (the moves that have a bar you need to fill up) always use the special animation. I say "if possible" because I am obviously not recommending you should play GO for the sole purpose of just to learn these animations, but it does help if you simply happen to already have the game lol

To be honest computers can’t do rng they are often required to produce random numbers as they're useful for a host of tasks. But computers produce these numbers using mathematical formulas, which means they aren't truly random. That why we can do this😊

Hello, I have a question: I used a discord server to try and find out my tid and sid. I got that my tid is 915646 (Which is the same one I see in my game) and my sid is 4038. When I try to put those values to the program it automatically changes the tid to 65535. Is it that i'm supposed to put something else as my tid or am I doing something else wrong?
So there is a separate TID from the one on your Trainer card that is needed along with the SID. I got mine when I did the shiny hunt, and unfortunately I don't know another way to get it.
You both need to upload the file the bot gave you to pkhex, that will give you your 5 digit TID/SID combo. It’s all written in the guide linked in the first comment

Found a shiny and then when I went to do the search for the pokemon it didn't show any results for it in the box, I think it's because I was using a storm drain lead so the pokemon that showed up would've been different otherwise. When I search for results with Feebas (the shiny I got) nothing shows up, but when I search for it with Chewtle (which is in the same encounter table) one result does show up. Do I just need to try again without storm drain or is this Chewtle actually what I'm looking for?

It’s random. Raid rng was discovered right away, where this rng was discovered only in 2021. Some gens didn’t get rng till after the next gen came out, and some it will be impossible (LGPE)
How much is the frame advance affected by the weather? I was hoping to catch a pokémon on Thunderstorm for the mark; but it may not seem feasible if standing in the rain alone advance 100+ frames, that way i won't be able to hit the frame the pokemon spawn

How many pokemon are you koing before you go looking for the shiny (in the fishing spot not the number of specific pokemon battled) I've heard it caps at 25 reel but it looked like you went past 25 koes
The only thing fishing effects is when a brilliant will spawn, which caps at 25. If you get a brilliant it resets, and if you are at or above 25 fish reels, it’s the same value until you get a brilliant

I was able to get shiny Virizion doing this after many attempts. I’m only confused how I got a Modest nature when the frames I aimed for said Adamant? I’m also noticing when catching the Pokémon to check the frame I hit, I’m getting mons with different natures but close IVs and the correct mark? Please any insight on this will be appreciated
@HeyJakFrost how were you able to get Virizion to change characteristics everytime / reset it? Wouldn't the spawned Virizion have fixed stats as soon as it spawns, and it goes away only after running away and then soft reset/camp/change state?

You don't really need to manipulate the RNG for a promo den. Especially for this wave since only 2 of the 5 star slots are snom. You can plow through more dens that aren't shiny snom due to this and with a 2% spawn rate for the shiny slot you should be able to day skip and get it in about an hour more or less.

Sorry but it didn’t work for me. I followed everything, and just gave up after 5-6 hours. When I press Y in submenu, the frame doesn’t advance from 1 to 1, but for more than this. I did exactly what you did, the frame went to 50. I stopped pressing Y at 40 and then summary and pressed 10 times and go into a pokemon and… no shiny 🥲

If you know the SID, you can do the RNG with that info, yes. Need your TID too, but that’s easy to find with a SID and the trainer card “G8 TID”

I am stuck at the delay of the close menu, about 5, 6 or 10 frames, each time is different. How did you solve this?

you only need to find a shiny once to find ur tid and sid, but you do need to redo the 128 seed finding thing every time you restart the game

Do you know if the shiny snom event in the raid dens there is right now will work? (I'm guessing it wouldn't but it would be cool if it did.)
