    Another lovely video Hugo. With the correct inks and paper the Pixma 8760 is a perfect printer for quality photo prints. Love your work✌️🇦🇺👏

    Fantastic video Hugo, I am so glad you are continuing to inspire us all. Do you believe the photos taken in museums can be made transformative with how you print, edit and how you reframe the photos taken? And even if your photos do not turn out, our photography will always be improved when we see beautiful compositions even if they are created on canvass. Saludos de Detroit Michigan USA

      Hi Fernando, absolutely agreed with your proposition. A photo is a transformation of reality. Is something new that never exist before it was taken. And yes, photography gets much better if we have a background of important paints and art pieces. Paint is, some how, a sublimation of photography, and a great painter is, metaphorically speaking, a photographer and also a camera.

    Hi Hugo, I don’t know how I missed this one. Wonderful and inspiring in equal measure. I also have the same printer, but I’ve been having a problem with black and white photos having a pink colour cast…. So next week is quiet and I’m going to sort it out! Once and for all.

      Hi Marcus, thanks again for your comment. I’m glad you enjoy the video! I had not big issues with the printer, but it work the best when printing directly from Lightroom. (Probably is the same with other editing programs)

    How do you get this colors? How is your editing in Lightroom? And What settings do you use? Is all shots above f5.6? Best Regards John

    • @myleicam8546
      @myleicam8546  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi John, colours come like this from the Leica M8. Sometimes just adjusting white balance in Lightroom brings great color. My editing process is more focus in exposition and composition. I think this images were taken with a Elmarit 28 2.8, and with low light I shoot at f2.8. All depends on the amount of light. If is possible, I go higher, till f5.6.

    Hi Hugo, I love your videos, Hugo, and your passion, and certainly your passion for the beautiful M8, which incidentally I have the M8 also, for just three weeks now, my very first Leica camera! what lens is that in your video, Hugo? I have only one M mount at the moment, the Voigtlander Nokton 35mm f1.4, its a great lens! please keep putting out your videos, Hugo, they are most enjoyable 👌Oh, Hugo, where do you get the IR cut filters, I have searched everywhere on line with no success? Thanks again

    • @myleicam8546

      Thank you very much for the comment, I’m happy you enjoyed the video. It encourage me to keep working in the next one 😉 Congratulations for your M8, is the best first Leica m you can have, and the best last one too, because is all one may need. In the museum video I used the Elmarit 28mm, made for the m8 and excellent quality lens. But the Voigtlander Nokton 35 1.4 is also perfect for the m8 and more versatile than the Elmarit, because is also a super low light and portrait lens.

    hi Hugo nice to see a video from you! Those colors are such classics. I'm happy to report, that just like yours, my M8 is still alive and well, Incidentally I have the same printer as you but I cannot seem to print nice B&W from it. Do you use the Canon software to print? Also check out the work of @MarcusLloyd here on TH-cam. He does really nice work with his M8.

    • @myleicam8546
      @myleicam8546  ปีที่แล้ว

      Great to know your m8 still working. They are hard metal! I found that the paper is fundamental in this printer (probably in others too;-) For example Canon Glossy works better than semi gloss or mat. I print directly from Lightroom. It works fine.

      @@myleicam8546 I'm going to keep on trying with papers Hugo, have a LOT and I do have Canon Glossy. Do you use Mac or Windows?

       @clipsTL Sorry, I forgot to answer your question! 😅I use Mac, And it take me some time to find a decent paper for the printer. One day I received with a set of canon ink a package of paper, and it was a discovery, this glossy one really works perfectly. With others the prints looks muddy in dark aéreas.

      @@myleicam8546 No worries Hugo! I use Mac too but somehow I struggle with colours! But for B&W things look ok :)
