- Back with another comic dub I put together, here we have an excerpt from the Transformers IDW Spotlight series- Trailcutter! I couldn't have done this one without my good friend, @OrionZaxs, who was nice enough to provide his voice for Trailcutter in this! I mainly wanted to make this because Whirl had a lot to say, so it was a ton of fun getting to record for him again.

whirl absolutely downloaded the bass boosted vine boom and plays it whenever he wants to make a point or fuck with people. this is canon

I like how everyone praising Whirl for how cool he is, and completely forgetting about trailcutter just like in the video, poor guy
I love how the headmasters made fun of their entire gimmick, honestly, in universe jokes about the toyline is always hilarious
Hahahaha. Whirl like that friend how he acts tuff but is really kind on the inside and that doe he tries to denies it, cares about you and wants to help you in his own way.

Its worse when you remember that Trailcutter (or Breaker?) helped save Kup, but no one knew.

Between this and the way he ships CyGate, I'm convinced that in a previous life Whirl was a fanfic writer. The lad is here to be random, do violence, and fix-it fic irl all his faves.

Whirl's voice particularly is EXACTLY how I imagined he'd sound, not even a slight pitch different, fantastic work
There’s just so much personality on these characters
I don’t know what’s scarier, Brainstorm’s weapons cache or Whirl giving life lessons
This is the best dub I've heard for Whirl's voice. Hands-down, no competition.
The voice for whirl in this dub is now how I canonically accept it.

I'm completely overcome with joy seeing my fave character (Whirl) getting voices so wonderfully- there's so much personality in every character voiced!! Love this!

I love Whirl having a voice like Metal Gear's Raiden, it fits so well.

It's ok T.B... or... T.C.. Grimlock knows he you feel, people don't see him as a person. Just the "T-Rex autobot who's the comedy stupid sidekick guy". They don't even notice his team!
Funny thing; I used to know Trailbreaker for being slow but tough in G1, years before learning about uis forcefield abilities 😅

This was a ton of fun but if I may make a small suggestion, next time you do a project with brainstorm try doing him in your best Cave Johnson impression and see how it goes.

If you plan to finish the comic you should have this guy voice hoist in the final panels. Unless you’d rather do it yourself which is understandable.
