Silkstone Barbie VS Poppy Parker doll (detailed comparison)

I started collecting Barbies, but have since switched to Integrity, not only because they are more modern looking, like a real female but the fashions are outstanding in quality. Plus, their edition sizes are smaller, which makes them more collectible and exclusive.

This is a very nice review of both dolls. I don’t have either type. I like the detail and lifelike features of poppy Parker. How interesting that she is so light weight and a little hollow feeling. Both dolls have nice features. I like the luxury and classic features of Barbie and the realism and modern feeling if Poppy.

Thanks for making this comparison. And a suggestion for the issues of Barbie hands / fingers catching on her clothing....I use small plastic bags that you can find in the craft store around beads....pop one on each hand (you may need to cut off the zip top of the bags), and the sleeves slip right on. No more fingers getting caught.

I also love the weight of the silkstone barbies and I prefer the pre-2016 non-articulated ones because they are heavier than the articulated dolls. I also have only 1 poppy (Pretty Bird), that I bought at a crazy prize on Etsy. I really wish Integrity Toys makes their dolls more accessible but atleast we can now buy their Basic dolls that are also quite nice!

Hi, thanks for the comment! :) I ca't agree with you more, I wish I could have showed some of my non-articulated SIlkstone dolls too in this video however they are for now all in their box.. Once my channel will be a bit bigger with more engagement, I will consider unboxing some of them in a future video. I just googled your Pretty bird Poppy Parker and oh wow she is gorgeous but yes I agree, for the money they cost I am a bit more inclined to rather buy a Silkstone doll as I feel like they are a bit more high end. Thank you for the video. Good comparison of Silkstone Barbie and Poppy Parker. I agree with you Poppy Parker has a better ratio, but both of their neck is disproportionately long. But all in all very well constructed video (and of course only for adults). :-)

Poppy Parker heads do tilt - at least mine do. I have 4 Poppies & 4 other integrity dolls & all their heads tilt in different directions. Your Poppy's head is probably just stiff but I'm sure it tilts in all directions. And Poppy's torso does bend a little & also twists slightly.

Poppy definitely has full range of motion in her head/neck She can look up and down. Please try it!

You can swivel the head of Poppy actually. You just need to put a little force to do it, because her head is hard... If you want to do it safely, warm her head a little then try to move it.

Poppy parker head is pivotal, maybe you got a sturdy joint .. poppy body may be hallowed but they didnt use a cheap material for the plastic
