I have listened to this song nearly 150 times in the past year, and I am convinced this is not only one of the most underrated metal tracks of the decade, but also one of the most perfectly composed and structured songs ever.

This song is perfect! I love all the new songs, but this one has a unique flavour, with just enough balance between atmospheric keyboard background (which is usually not desirable to mist) and powerful riffs. As always, Mighty Themis nails it with interesting beats!
So good. What a fantastic sound. I am relatively new to black metal and rotting christ and nothing scratches my itch quite like you all. Melodic unbroken music, hard and heavy without drowning in hatred or over self struggle, or self created drama. It's is very refreshing to hear a healthy ego and personal feelings. Every album the sound has evolved to be more refined and a little bit heavier. Sanctum diavolous is my favorite.

I have only recently discovered RC even though I've listed to metal for a good 30 years now. The opening riff of this track is absolutely insane, I think I can safely say that it's in my top 10 riffs of all time. And the whole song is just incredible. I wish I had discovered this band earlier but I'm happy that I've got a thick catalogue of new music I can explore. Thank you Algorithm to relentlessly put Sakis' solo stuff in my feed until I finally gave in.

Ok. This is perfection. This is the true definition of music. It's pure art. Crisp vocals, drums that wake the dead and of course, the groovy guitar melody ❤️ don't like the band's name but still, they make good music.
Rotting Christ bonus songs or songs that didn't make it into any of their albums, are as great as the album songs. Some examples..This song here of course, or "Phobia", which is a bonus track found only on the Brazil edition of the Khronos LP, or "Moonlight", from the Sleep of the angels period. Moonlight can be found on the Der Perfekte Traum EP. Sakis is like a factory. A factory that produces gems of metal music. And i remember laughing at RC when i heard their first demo back in the day..
What I don't understand is that the internet is full of people praising Rotting Christ and calling them the best band in history (which they are), but meanwhile most of their gigs have only a couple hundred people in it if you're lucky, of which most are on their phone facebooking instead of paying attention to the band on stage. That being said: this song is fucking brilliant, and when I say brilliant, I mean by far one of the best songs I've heard over the past year or so. too bad they excluded this from the new album. Hail Rotting Christ.
I totally agree although here in Greece they do have some thousands of people in their concerts. And it is a small country.... and not particularly "metal oriented".

Best song of the album by far. I thought they had lost their unique energy in 'The Heretics' but this song showed me that there is still fire in them. In my opinion although the album has some good tracks it lacks some energy, the one we are used to hear from RC, but this song makes up for it. Rotting Christ is one of those bands where I won't like a lot of their albums but then they'll put out an album where I like every single song on it. Three times now: Sanctus Diavolus, Theogonia, and now this. This album is dope.
This is the best song from the new album. This band stays so brutal and still so melodic. I hope their next album follows this song's inspiration. The rest of their album is great but a little too "Rituals 2.0". Combine Theogonia and Rituals and you get this song, perfection.
