If they brought the Crown Sport (PHEV) to the US, that would be our next car hands down. Perfect replacement for our Volt since we want more space inside without going to a crossover. If not our options are unclear.
I love my Crown Limited, I was going to buy the Lexus but the Crown Limited is the better deal, you get a better luxury with a better price, I love it!
Hi Jeff. Thanks for the review. How is the driving feel vs the last gen Avalon? How about the Lexus IS 300. I still like sedans and is considering between this, Camry or Is300. The bells ans whistles aren't as critical as driving experience..... Thanks
People consistently said the Avalon was an old persons car with a giant grill. The Crown is a mix between a sports back, crossover, and fuel efficient sedan.
I really like the looks of the Crown. The one thing that definitely turns me off is the same reason I never liked my Audi trunk. Sure you can drop down the back seats for more room but if you have something that is tall or wide it most likely will not go into the trunk let alone pass through. Since it's not a hatchback style you have to think about larger things fitting into the trunk. First time you buy a big flat panel tv you'll realize it won't fit in the trunk and you can't get it into the rear passenger seats.
Getting stuck with the moonroof for any other feature I want is my biggest issue with the car. Why would I want to lower the headroom for a point of leakage, broken shards of glass, giving up the sunglass holder, paying more for something that in no way benefits me. OH and to top it off since I don't have much hair up top it actually works against me.
i like the car , but the ticket is too high for that price you can just get a lexus , if this was priced similar to the honda accord it would be a top seller , if the ticket drops next year i will grab one
I'd definitely like a lexus if they updated it to max this. This wins as of the moment. Rear heated seats, rear fold down seats, and just a nicer looking interior but this last one is more subjective
I would honestly go for the Toyota Camry 2025 hybrid all-wheel-drive you don’t need to pay extra $25,000 for the crown is not all that versus Camry 2025
My understanding ...it was the vehicle to replace the Toyota Avalon . I spotted it at the 2023 NY Auto show last year. Customers at the Auto show walked by the Crown with no interest. There is little sales interest by customers in my local dealership. I have the 2023 Toyota Prius XLE All Wheel Drive with 12 inch screen and glass roof in Supersonic Red. It looks like a Lamborghini in a stunning red color. Get between 48 and 50 mpg. Cost in the mid-30s. No wonder it was Car of the Year. No wonder dealerships in the Northeast are getting $4K over sticker price and a 6-month waiting list. Toyota missed it with the Crown. It's an SUV with a boring exterior, not a sedan like the Avalon. There are too many other SUV choices . It's just my opinion. I was looking for an attractive contemporary replacement for the Avalon abd the equivalent of the Lexus ES 350 . It has not arrived at Toyota as of yet. Maybe some day! One can hope as not everyone wants a SUV!
This car is exceptionally amazing although the purchase price is high and similar to Lexus ES model. I considered purchasing a LEXUS ES vs Crown for the price until comparing the two. Unfortunately, Toyota dropped the ball on the ES. The ES is totally outdated. The exterior body and the multimedia section in the vehicle is debunked. The Crown defeats the ES hands down. However, if the ES receive a modern upgrade inside and out, the ES may defeat the Crown, considering the moonroof/sunroof is fixed in the Crown. As of today, I'll be awaiting the release of the 2025 Crown unless @Toyotajeff post a video of an upgraded ES 300h or 350 releasing in 2025.
This dude talk good about the crown but in fact I own the crown forc 4 months. It weak not really 41/42 I think dealer can set the usage meter. My was good at the beginning but after 1000 miles when you take the car to tge dealership I notice the gas consumption went up. I am continue monitorthe usages
It is because it is built on a platform that is reinforced. The glass Iris one full panel I think, it just has a support beam going across above the B pillars.
F's the crown i won't buy again. Too many issues but the dealer never do the right job .Toyota needs to be carefully they are going to lost customer because of dealership service
How does Crown look in Supersonic Red? LIke the Crown inside and out? Thanks for watching and Subscribing. Jeff
I really am happy with my 2023 Toyota Crown Limited. The vehicle consistently gets 41-42 MPG and is very quiet inside and comfortable.
A PROPER car - with a spare tyre!
Someone ELSE would like the BROWN on the doors and the dashboard? That's me!
Just got mine 25 Bronze Age Crown Limited with package. I must say it’s a comfortable luxurious car.

2024 Crown XLE gets leather? Nice!

Yeah. It’s a bummer but most people could have it delivered or barrow a vehicle.

nice , but needs a rear spoiler!!
Exotic looking car! But probably I'd go for a Camry or Lexus as this car is in between those two.
It lacks a few inches in the back. But it is a Toyota ❤️

The platinum crown is $4k more than the Base ES350 in my area. For $4k more, you can get the ultra luxury. Lol

I like this guy. Cool dude. Subscribed.
Thanks Frank! Appreciate you being here
Does 25 Model Year Limited offer a power trunk?
Not on limited. Only platinum.
I would honestly go for the Toyota Camry 2025 hybrid all-wheel-drive you don’t need to pay extra $25,000 for the crown is not all that versus Camry 2025
What good is a sunroof if you cant open it.
To let light in.
Non-opening roofs are usually quieter and less likely to leak after decades.
Does PART of the roof open?
None of it opens.
Way too expensive. Get the Camry…at least it’ll have a sunglasses holder. Lol
Unless you get the panoramic roof.

The Prius is hard to get. The Crown is absurdly easy to get, even below MSRP. For people who want a sedan, the Crown is great.

New ES might release in ‘26

The pano roof doesn’t open but it’s still not a full glass. Disappointing.

Starter battery? That little battery does not start the car. The big battery does.
Small Battery is used to start the whole system up.
@@Jack-pd4ps I meant to say the 12v battery doesn’t start the engine. So strange to call it “starter” battery.
@@ky314 oh ok 👍
Yeah, it is more of an accessory battery.

WRONG. just get a Camry SE for 33k and move on.
@@ChopperChad chadball you’re wrong. Crown is barely nicer and is 20k more.

I don't like the body styling....
