But the majority of rich people who "worked for it", had parents who gave them privileges, connections, knowledge, wealthy treatment, and the right environment for success.

Its funny when people say you lose purpose if you are rich, no the reality is, if tons of money causes you to feel like you have no purpose, you probably didn't have any purpose to begin with and need to find something you truly find passionate about.
Congratulations! I hope to win tonight as well! Remember to remain anonymous if you can! Under no circumstances tell anyone! Assemble your financial team to protect your winnings and leave money for your children and grandchildren! Good luck with tonight's drawing!
Most of this advice won’t work in the long run. You will still have Uncle Sam, conmen, and losers expecting handouts from you if you win the lottery. If you happen to win basic thing to think about be discreet, set up a blind trust (remain anonymous), get a finance lawyer and consultant, and last thing is move away.
False assumption- At any moment, only 20% are inherited rich, most worked for it. In 3 generations, wealth has been blown by future generations that didn't appreciate its worth.
Here in Norway, there is 0% tax on lottery winnings. You may get a value tax which depends on the total worth of your assets, but it will never exceed 1.1% per year. Also, you will NEVER lose your winnings for any reason as long as you paid to play, because you have to register a play account, so winnings are ALWAYS registered regardless of amount.
I would do the annuity payments if i won the lottery and I would continue to work. I would hate to get a lump sum and watch it all disappear. Plus I could get something resembling a paycheck every month.
Sure, that’s what they all say when they become billionaires. Those same “everyday normal people” are likely to scheme to rob you & could grab you or your family for ransom. It’s real out here.
Quite honestly if I won the lottery I wouldn't have anything in common with these other rich people that have the old money. That's why you bring a couple of really close friends along with you so they have money to and you can hang out with them . And never reveal that you are rich . Just be who you are .
To be honest, IDGAF about what rich people think of me. For starters, I wouldn't tell them anything in the first place. That's none of their business. I much rather keep my personal business wealth to myself instead of trying to rub shoulders with a bunch of rich and spoiled millionaire/ billionaire snobs. But again, that's just me... I eat alone🍝🍷
None of this would happen to me. I would put aside 50% for government. 30% for me and 20% for charity. No friends get anything. Plus use my financial advisor to help me out. I do not live like the normal person.

If I ever won even just $1 million, I’m going to be getting things fixed up around my trailer (it’s a 1 bedroom so nothing real huge), continue to not surround myself with much of anybody (heck I can’t even trust anyone to make plans hanging out with anybody in the first place), and I really wouldn’t be paying anybody to tell me what to do with my own money because I have been through it before where I’ve been used. I would get my dream car and a good used car that’s not too old but still one that I’d like to have for the rest of my life. I’m not one that really needs much of anything to be happy so I feel like I would be okay. I’m not going to care about what people think of me, if they think I’m some sort of arrogant jerk then so be it. My dream house is a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house and even then, I wouldn’t just up and move. I would still enjoy the time that I have with the city I’m in and only move on my own terms.
Who cares what other rich people think of you? Don't tell them! As for tax in the UK, you pay your tax on the price of the ticket, not on the value of the prize. I set up we all can agree is the right one.
Who cares what rich people think? The gift is that you don’t have to work for them. FREEDOM!!
Exactly ‼️ I don't want their acceptance or even to be around them‼️

🤣🤣🤣🤣
Or caring that they do regardless
Only thing a lottery winner should worry about is conmen and thieves who are looking to take.

2 Billion go unclaimed because millions of people who win only $1 don't bother to stand in line just to collect that one dollar.
I just won a million and no one knows, they will never be able to use me, out of the country I shall go.
The fact that the lottery is created and run by the state seems illegal when the same state is taxing you for winning 🤔
Lottery winners are truly self-made wealthy people. Most rich people are rich due to inherited wealth, not hard work
False assumption- At any moment, only 20% are inherited rich, most worked for it. In 3 generations, wealth has been blown by future generations that didn't appreciate its worth.
That is incorrect. Most truly wealthy people earned their wealth. The data is available if you do a little research.
That’s not true. Most wealthy people earned their money the hard way.
@@jebbiekanfer8843 You are correct--Most folks today don't want to hear that--envy, resentfulness taint their perceptions.
