@@tigertank06 Hard to say, but I do think that under her guidance Palpatine would have had a significantly more difficult time coming to power the way he does. I forget her name. She's in a game too. Amd she was a badass. Hot too lolshe never stopped learning it seemed. . She became sooo powerful it's unreal. She would have f'd up Palpatine
Based on the resources available and the level of the enemy a case can be made for Satele Shan or luke to be the greatest grandmasters as both had to rebuild or make great changes for the jedi order to survive without any one of then jedi would be extinct.
In Star Wars Galaxies for completing a Village Quest to become a Jedi, you get the SunRiders Destiny Crystal which was sought after in the game!~ So if the Village is going to give a crystal, then that would surly mean she was more powerful then Yoda, hell even Anakin was more powerful than Yoda was!~
Yoda may well have been more powerful, but Nomi had far more ability to unify her fellow Jedi, using her Battle Meditation to link with hundreds and even thousands of other Jedi. Against someone like Darth Sidious, she wouldn't have been blinded by his illusions, and would have unified the Order against the Sith long before the Clone Wars broke out. This doesn't really have anything to do with the power of either Grandmaster, but more their skill sets. Nomi simply isn't the type to be fooled by dark side deceptions, the way the Clone Wars era Jedi Order had their minds clouded by Darth Plagueis and Darth Sidious. Also, someone like Count Dooku wouldn't have been able to hide in plain sight around a Jedi like Nomi Sunrider, she would have sensed him immediately. Another thing to consider about Force Light when used against Dark Siders, the more powerful an individual was in the Dark Side, the more vulnerable they were to Force Light. A Jedi Master, no matter how powerful or not, who had a proper mastery of Force Light would render a sith like Darth Sidious barely able to use basic telekinesis. Of course, Sidious would still be able to beat most Jedi Masters with the use of his lightsaber, but Force Light is the exact power move it sounds like. Sidious was already afraid of facing Yoda, he wouldn't have even sought to put his plans into motion against a Jedi Grandmaster who knew Force Light to the degree that Sunrider did.
It would only feel natural that there was an ancient Jedi that was more powerful than Yoda since even he might have had to have someone stronger than him at some point in history. Just about every generation of Heroes will eventually find someone stronger than even the strongest out of those Heroes
She also let leading the Jedi interfere with her duties as a mother her daughter ended up going to ulic to be properly taught and he taught her without his connection to the force
I think that people forget how fundamentally changed the FORCE itself was during the last days of the Republic. The Dark Side had grown so powerful at that time that it is doubtful that Nomi would have fared any better than Yoda even with her tremendous potential in the light side of the Force. In this respect I believe Yoda to be superior.
I'd love to see a seris done on Revian & Nomi. Bit only if dosney has absolutely nothing to do with it. And Kathleen Kennedy should never think about much less give any input at all.
An objective measure would be their respective midichlorian count. Is that known for Nomi? Otherwise, sounds like they were both super powerful, but with different talents. I wonder if Nomi's superior mental abilities would have been too much for Sidious to hide from. If so, would he have known in time to adapt his tactics? Have her assassinated? Something else? Anyway, another great video. Many thanks for keeping the lore alive in this dark time.
So she was a more unfaltering Anakin of her era, so to speak. Although she was gifted with potential and knowledge, if Yoda had access to said knowledge, he could have replicated many of her feats with ease. After all even though she was quite gifted, Yoda's species was practically anchored in the light... Given the correct circumstances and leeway, Yoda could potentially unlock these secrets almost naturally and possibly improve upon them. Potential tends to be irrevocably tied if not limited by perspective.
I think they are both powerful but I'll pick Nomi because of her leadership. Yoda has so many jedi under his leadership and can not defeat 1 sith lord, and Nomi and her jedi won a war against the great sith war
It sounds like she was more powerful. Just because she knew a lot more then Yoda. She was in the right time. When jedi still shared secrets a d a lot of them. And her fellow jwdo shared there powerful secrets with her that made her eve more powerful.. to bad her gen didn't share They're knowledge and didn't write down or put it in a holocron for everyone to learn
As if being around for many centuries would say something on it's own. Yoda would b among the very few that r in his age range or even older. It is about what u could lear n by whom. The knowledge of masters baas, ur n sunrider was stored in the first holocron, luke's order rediscovered so it's certainly holding the force light technique as well, which makes it easily accessable for all his students. At no point u say that the technique stands out by being hsrd to learn or perform, that it requires certain talents that can't b tought, only that it was so extremely rare cuz of the few that knew it n the limited number of their trainees. If that's true than it would make the technique from highly special into a base topic of study in lukes academy. It's not unlike shatterpoint which still gets presented as these overhyped ultrarare ability which commonly is been paraded to highlight jedi who r known to posess it, as outstanding 4 that. Following the lore tho' besides the wind novel, that relates to it, we not only learn jacen to've learned it somewhere. More important is the bit of jaina describing to luke what she saw jacen doing (shattering beskar with a touch) which leads to luke not just telling her about the technique's name n how rare it is n was. Most importantly he explains the reason for that. Just like force light, it was known by very few masters n therefore tought just as rarely, yet he also tells her that it in itself isn't really anything special that couldn't b tought to any1 atuned enough to the force, b4 he shows it to jaina who learns to perform it at least in it's basic kinetic uses (which r what matters in combat) in rather quick time. There is no reason to believe that it couldn't have beenperformed by any fully trained jedi knight of the old order if shown, perhaps with exeptions for ppl like corran horns grandpa who may have had a similair unability for tk as corran. As strong as corrans mental abilities were tho', high very well could have become extremely good with it if used in other more abstract ways like in detection of temporal, psychological or sociological shatterpoints. After all, the technique was about detecting such points which than were available to b used, depending on their nature, which coild mean not even by any force technique but 4 example by the correct timing 4 an action to create the biggest effect, if it's about temporal shatterpoints. Becoming small was also ultrarare yet seemingly not hard to learn at least 4 all jedi with a healing talent. Vegere tought it to cylgal very fast n she tought tekli who was just been knighted n was known to have a rather low basic potential, which was no issue in learning it. By the way the process is described, luke even learned the process which sctually is molecular transmutation of matter, without a healing talent n without knowing the technique in that context at all. in the first black fleet crisis book, he builds a hermitage out of shattered rubbel from vaders coruscant fortress by restructuring it into new form. He does so by changing it on a molecular level, meaning transmutation of elements n that's the same process used by vergere, to produce various substances that r useful as medicines, anti toxins or as onimi who produces toxins the same way. In it's principle, just like shatterpoint, it's an incredibly powerful ability for it's wide variety of uses alone that r limited only by the users creativity. One can construct the other destruct in the most profound ways n nearly with no boundaries yet neither demands overly strongsensitivity (m count) only a certain grade of ability to open up n channel the ammount that one can manage theoreticly. It's not talent depending but rather needing the right purity of heart i guess. All 3 r things that require high focus n sometimes quite a bit of time so they r mostly impractical as quick n direct action or one that can b done like a side effect or at once with various other tricks. That could b a big reason why they were rarely tought n easily got lost in turbulent times where jedi died more often n early.
I say her because she had attachments so she would use the full raw power of the Force not a weaker version only of light and erogance. Look we all want to universe to love happyly ever after but we don't live olin such. Maybe next accend in life 4 dimension or even 5th and beyond but we live here in a 3 speed dimension think of it as speeding your voice message by 2x we don't live Thier our speed is regular so we live in chaos and harmony Thier for we must use both but lean to the light or get wrecked.
I love the channel and the videos but nomi’s largest claim to fame her battle meditation was more powerful than anyone else her ability to seal dark side energy wasn’t as strong as Luke’s
If they both had the same info to learn from there is no way that any human no matter how talented could ever learn more than someone from yoda species not only are they always more attuned to the force than humans they have a really important biological advantage they live for 1000 years there is no way with all that time on his side he couldn't learn more than her its yoda win no question
People really dont understand jedi order during yoda times. They were military,no sith even dared to challenge them in open combat. They were strongest jedi order of all time in terms of combat and force powers. This was one of the reason for their downfall, thye become too powerfull and force needed balance between dark and light, cause they basically destroyed dark. Off course they were strict and dogmatic as fuk, which millitary isnot. These were not some fukin knights in shining armor, but selectivelyl breed jedi millitary force.Yes they did alot of bad things, even kidnapping and being obssesed to destroy dark.Grand master yoda never in his life went out for akill, when he was sparring mace or others,he was toying with them or teaching.Only time yoda was bloodlusted was against sidius, who won only beacuse he had force on his side.People still dont understand prophecy.
This is litterally painful to listen ... Have anybody counted the amount of "most powerfull" used? I would bet for cadence of at least one usage per 10-15 seconds.
Long live the Real Tales of the Jedi. Had Lucas made Yoda into an awesome Jedi and not a jumping clown in his prequels, then I would agree. But since he was turned into a joke, even unable to perceive Palpatine's obvious deviousness, he will never be better, nor more powerful than her. The true difference is that Nomi was written by a better writer, while Lucas in his prequels made the Jedi into weakling ped0s. Good thing I don't consider those films canon in my Star Wars.
I believe grandmaster Satele and Sunrider were more powerful than yoda. Yoda couldn't beat Sidious. Satele spend 45 years fighting, Sunrider helped defeat Exar. It's nothing on yoda at all,i think yoda would not be able to achieve what Satele and sunrider did

I forget her name. She's in a game too. Amd she was a badass. Hot too lolshe never stopped learning it seemed. . She became sooo powerful it's unreal. She would have f'd up Palpatine
Nomi’s brother Jev sunrider was killed by sith spirits along with 3 other Jedi masters when they ventured to kraysiss 2
Based on the resources available and the level of the enemy a case can be made for Satele Shan or luke to be the greatest grandmasters as both had to rebuild or make great changes for the jedi order to survive without any one of then jedi would be extinct.
This immediately sounds like story that's a new addition.
Edit: i wrote that just seeing the title
I need more about that dragon Jedi!
Can I just say "yay, someone used 'infamous' correctly!" ;)
Thing is...with Yoda... No one ACTUALLY knows what all Yoda knows and is capable of
In Star Wars Galaxies for completing a Village Quest to become a Jedi, you get the SunRiders Destiny Crystal which was sought after in the game!~
So if the Village is going to give a crystal, then that would surly mean she was more powerful then Yoda, hell even Anakin was more powerful than Yoda was!~
Yoda may well have been more powerful, but Nomi had far more ability to unify her fellow Jedi, using her Battle Meditation to link with hundreds and even thousands of other Jedi.
As much as I love Nomi, Yoda was certainly a better duellist.
Disney will love this character because of her feats
I'd love to see a seris done on Revian & Nomi. Bit only if dosney has absolutely nothing to do with it. And Kathleen Kennedy should never think about much less give any input at all.
yoda could not even defeat dooku and palpatine, only mace was powerful enough to almost defeat palpatine
Mace did defeat him. Would've killed him right there if Anakin hadn't stopped him.
Potential tends to be irrevocably tied if not limited by perspective.
aint no wonder my boy turned dark nomi was for the streets. my guy saw a 304 and ran
I think they are both powerful but I'll pick Nomi because of her leadership.
Yoda has so many jedi under his leadership and can not defeat 1 sith lord, and Nomi and her jedi won a war against the great sith war
Could Luke use this light technique?
I like her, she’s a cool character. Groovy lady.
Not To Mention odds that Anakin Skywalker could Undoubtedly Unlock his True Potential if he was Trained by Nomi
So we're going to skip mace windu huh
Hey could you make a video on cade skywalker
I say her because she had attachments so she would use the full raw power of the Force not a weaker version only of light and erogance. Look we all want to universe to love happyly ever after but we don't live olin such. Maybe next accend in life 4 dimension or even 5th and beyond but we live here in a 3 speed dimension think of it as speeding your voice message by 2x we don't live Thier our speed is regular so we live in chaos and harmony Thier for we must use both but lean to the light or get wrecked.
Not Satele? Nomi my girl though. Haha
Why didn't she pass this skill on to others!!?
I love the channel and the videos but nomi’s largest claim to fame her battle meditation was more powerful than anyone else her ability to seal dark side energy wasn’t as strong as Luke’s
I knew there was a time when Jedi were allowed to get married and have children but I wonder when that ended and what caused it to end.
If they both had the same info to learn from there is no way that any human no matter how talented could ever learn more than someone from yoda species not only are they always more attuned to the force than humans they have a really important biological advantage they live for 1000 years there is no way with all that time on his side he couldn't learn more than her its yoda win no question
Why don't we see this type of force power in today's star wars content
How about Satele Shan?
Nice.
Luk Skywalker
except with Qui-Gon.
What about Marca ragnous?!?!?!?
smoke sith everyday 😂😂😂
At 3:52 it looks like she’s using her “force steroids” ability…
She sounds like a godamn boss
I believe grandmaster Satele and Sunrider were more powerful than yoda. Yoda couldn't beat Sidious. Satele spend 45 years fighting, Sunrider helped defeat Exar. It's nothing on yoda at all,i think yoda would not be able to achieve what Satele and sunrider did
Sidious is more powerful than exar kun
I believe her and Satele are both stronger
5:49 🤭
all ancient jedi grandmasters are more powerful than yoda, there, corrected the title
