I hiked around this point of land north of the inlet when it was nothing but pines trees (during Dec 1979 while student at FIT-Jensen Beach), now look at it! Also some scenes from the movie "Empire of the Ants" were filmed there.
From Bridge Road you can drive about 2 miles North on Jupiter Island until you reach a National Preserve and parking lot. From there you can hike along the beach for about 3 miles to reach the inlet. Better options are by boat or kayak.
@@tlausser I measured the distance on google maps and it's a 5 mile hike from the parking lot! Might make for a fun adventure. Thanks for the response. Will post a vid if I try it.
@@tlausser Hello, I sent you an email about some of your fantastic aerial videos. I am working on a website of mine and wanted to speak with you about using some of these videos on the website. Best, Jason.
Best bet is by boat or kayak. At the far east end of Cove Rd cross the intracoastal and there are docks for St Lucie Inlet State Park. Once onshore there is a mile long boardwalk out to the beach.

Love these aerial views. Keep them coming
Yoo I’m driving the boat in that last clip of the kids on the boat pulling in. that’s such a sick shot!
Yeah that was great timing and nice evening light. In the video it’s 4x speed at first, then 2x and finally normal speed. Glad you found the video.
I’m trying to find an aerial video of Rocky point, looks like that’s where you launched from. Twin rivers park?
I launched from SE Horseshoe Pt. Road just West of the Intracoastal.
Where’s the Class D airspace in Stuart?
Can u get there from hobe sound?
