Dude, this is how to teach. First you play it and get right to it. Not like the other idiots that tell a 10 minute story before , during and after. Thanks! You're not a bad singer either.
Exactamente
Show respect to novatos👄💋💋
Bro how fucking annoying is it when they just don't shut up. Like those pedal and amp reviews, I'm not bothered about the fucking capacitors or whatever, let me hear what it sounds like and STFU hahaha
Actually his voice is spot on!
Learning this song for my son-in-law. Was having a lot of difficulties - Til there was you. Yes, I just said that. Thank you for the great lesson.
i remember watching this 3 years ago when i just started playing the guitar and thought that i’d never be able to understand how to play this
Congrats on the progress! That’s always such a good feeling.
I’ve just started and can’t wait til I’m in your shoes
How long did it take you to play this cause I like this song a lot and I’m a beginner
Neither do I !!!!!!!!!!! hahahaha
@@glenpoop2445 I play it with a capo on the third fret. It’s a little easier. Play as if it’s in D.
On of my absolute all time favorite Beatles tunes. Though it was originally from the movie "The Music Man" with Robert preston in the early to mid 60s. Paul's mother loved that tune so they learned it especially for her. I never in a million years thought I would or could learn it, but you have changed my mind. I'm no professional so it IS hard for me, but your instruction is fantastic! I'm not stopping till I learn it to perfection! So glad I stumbled upon this and you! I'm stoked! I actually stopped playing the past year, but you got me back into the true enjoyment of learning. I spent the past year just building custom guitars for sale, but now I GOTTA play again. I can't wait to see more of your lessons! Thank you for this! You're the best teacher I've seen on TH-cam or anywhere else for that fact! Peace.
You play perfectly and a great teacher.
I love this song.
wow, this is GREAT! A coworker asked me to play something at her wedding in two weeks, and I thought this was be a nice song to do, and now I feel like I really know it! This is sooooo much better than struggling with bad guitar tabs!! Thanks again!
@5:48
This is what matters thank you for understanding that not everyone is a pro or at the same levels of guitar skills .
I really Appreciate it buddy thank you 😊

swiftlessons is a pick required to play this?

Have u played it at your wedding yet?
That is awesome! Don't tell her. Just surprise her. It'll blow her mind. If shes a Beatle fan even all the more.
How’d it go man?
I remember I first started to learn this when the lockdown had just begun and I gave up since it seemed so difficult but I learned the whole thing in 1½hr or so now. The Beatles are how I began playing. Thank you 💗
You were the person who taught me how to play this song😂, now i can play the bass(with vocals), rhythm and lead of it, THANKS ALOT MAAANNN, STAY COOOOLLLL
Can you show me please teachers son👄💋💋💋
Fantastic Lesson! I've taken countless classes, private lessons, and used a variety of programs, none even came close to what I've gotten from your lesson. You not only break down the songs in a clear, digestible and understandable manner, but you also provide knowledge that goes well beyond the song (ie. chord uses, progressions, strumming techniques, etc.). You sir are a very gifted teacher and have a lovely singing voice to boot. Thank you.
By far one of the most well-explained, thorough tutorials I've ever seen! I'm at a low-intermediate skill level and you presented this in such a way that I felt like it was completely approachable, yet still challenging. I also love that you talk about other applications for the techniques you demonstrate; it really helps solidify the new stuff :) Thanks!
I've played guitar all my life, I LOVE your enlightening and entertaining videos. You, my friend, make guitar fun again.
That's very kind of you Lisa, thanks so much!
I've been playing for a long time, but never really challenged myself over the years, playing the same stuff and not constantly learning. TH-cam has changed all that - I wish it had been around 40 years ago, and/or that I had been more dedicated. This lesson is fabulous for many reasons: 1) you're a really good player; 2) your teaching is very smooth and efficient, but still thorough; 3) the chord progression is wonderful and you explain the theory behind it really well; and 4) holy cow the Beatles were so impressive in their skill and presentation!! Thank you for making me a better guitar player with this excellent lesson.
I thought about looking for this lesson, and this is the first video I found, and I don't believe there is any other better. Instant subscriber here.
One of my favorite songs of all time! thank you so much!
Your the best player I've never seen, and I like your guitar!!
There were birds in the sky
But I never saw them winging
No, I never saw them at all
'Til there was you
Then there was music
And wonderful roses
They tell me in sweet fragrant meadows
Of dawn and dew
There was love all around
But I never heard it singing
No, I never heard it at all
'Til there was you
'Til there was you
This video is ahead of it's time, still the best tutorial for this song, plus the qualityy of the vid🤌
Great tutorial! I've been practicing it every day :) Although I would like to request a tutorial of And I Love Her, one of my fave songs of the best band. Thanks xx
I’ve been playing for a while and everything you learn in music is “pOP muSiC dOeSn’t UsE tHe DiMinIshEd cHoRd” but the greatest pop band of all time sure used it. Thanks for the great walkthrough. I love your positive energy.
Too high-pitched for my ears
Damn I get chills when hearing this Beatles Version! So many Memories and they did a great job with this version! Great playing and singing dude! Thanks for this video lesson!!
The best guitar tutorial channel for me.
this is such a beautiful song.... i was learn how to play this song with this video then a year or two later i forget and find myself back watching this video again lo
the best channel to learn guitar in TH-cam. great! need to subscribe. thanks man.
you can catch the good vibes while you teach. Thank you! you're great.
Nice presentation, calling out the chords every time, with helpful hints and super timing scroll along the bottom. Well done!
Wow, wow, wow!!! Fantastic lesson and great singing voice. Very impressive. I know if I even remotely reach your level of playing then that will be a major accomplishment in my life (maybe in a few years--or decades). Thanks for posting this! Cheers.
Good tuition videos are all about pacing and this guys videos are paced perfectly.
Great lesson. For Beatle purists, John more or less played it straight through on the verses and chorus but you can really hear the staccato during George's solo and the final chorus. Also a cheat for beginners if the chord change from F to Eflat(dim) is tough for you - keep the F bar chord shape and just remove your pinky and slide your second finger over to the second fret of the high E. Just make sure you only strum the bottom four strings though!
you're a great teacher dude thanks
Great, one of my favorite covers that they did. Lots of new chords to learn for this one, right people?
I would love it if you played “Think it’s gonna rain”.
Wonderful playing of this beautiful song....you're great man!...congrats!
Really great job. Amazing quality in every possible way. Thanks for sharing this man.
I’m so glad that I found your channel. Thank you! 👍👍

I'm organizing my folders on my laptop when I found this folder named "purpose". In the folder, this video is downloaded there and I watched it again. I will continue studying this song for my girl. :D I was just having a hard time sometimes on those bar chords. Thank you man for a very wonderful tutorial!
`you sing really well and thanks for the excellent guitar tutorial! You rock!
My fav beatles song,a great teacher..
Holy Cow! I can see I have my work cut out for me for a long time!! Great version thanks for your efforts!!
Thanks a lot for such a nice guided tour to "till there was you"
Wowww... an excellent guitar player and singer too. Switching between the regular voice to the head voice was seamless..... amazing. Hopefully, you are going to be a very good guitar teacher. I am looking lessons that connects the chord progressions for every key with the walking bass notes (up or down). I viewed the G-Em-C-D and was very impressed. I am a keyboardist who wants to add the guitar. I used the walking up or down bass notes to give the choir when to start the new line. Hope that you can help me. tnx Ed
One of my favorite songs, thank you very much to make me also able to play it - finaly
fantastic lesson of a beautiful song. thank you. greetings from Liverpool.
Awesome lesson!! Thank you so much! Greta guitar, singing and teaching skills
Love your style in playing and teaching. Thank you!
What a great lesson and a fun song to do a lesson of. Can’t wait to get to your walk thru of the solo in your other video.
Very well done. Right on the mark.. perfect. If this is where to place a request, how about Polk Salad Annie?
Excellent playing you nailed it - and not easy to do 👍
thank you this is good lesson for The beatles fans me and my friend
Getting from F to Eb(dim) is making me ready to throw my guitar in the trash. Great lesson!
What a voice! This is incredible!
Hey Peter, thanks for the positive feedback, it means a lot. Please share when you have a chance! Enjoy your practice. -Rob
Rob just wanted to drop in with a quick suggestion. First of all, I think you do an amazing job with these videos. Anyways, in the first minute or two when you're playing thru the song, don't drop rhythm to play the solo, just have a second video pop up so that we can see how you play the solo and little fill-ins along with rhythm. Really helps those of us who don't have a loop pedal or a friend to jam with! ;)
Rock on Rob!
I disagree, in this song it sounds good to play the solo as a lone player, dropping the rhythm and then picking it back up. He's playing the most complete version of it you can play by yourself.
You have a wonderful voice. And, of course, play very well. I wish I could play like you.👏👏👏
The way you explain is so good. You have a new subscriber. Thanks :D
Thank you for this song, you made it so easy!!!
Your voice reminds me of Ritchie Valens
Yessssss someone who finally recognizes Ritchie 😭😆😆
Ritchie Valens is great
I hear it now
Thanks a lot! An all time beautiful classic very well explained. Fab 4 ever! Great job.
Son, I am strictly rhythm, I don't wanna make it cry of sing. You title says "Rhythm Guitar Lesson", please refrain from distracting me with melody.

Two things:
Should be a Gb7#9 at 0:38
And an Fmaj7 at the very end.

You’re a good teacher
Dear mr Swift May I suggest just a minor change in chords after using the D7 or D9 you go to Gm- Gmaj7- after this one just release middle finger ( Gm7) and the sound is better I guess. pls try it Thanks for the great clear lesson :-)
