We're so glad we decided to include a stop in York on this trip! We've travelled all over the UK, and it's definitely one of the most interesting and most beautiful spots we've been to 😊 Highly recommend!
@LezSeetheWorld you could see where coffins had been excavated. There was a display in a hut with rings and pottery .I'll never forget how deep down it was .
I live in York. Thank you for your lovely video. It's so nice to see people enjoying our city. I've never been in Plush , but I'm going to go there now, it looks great! I love your little dog!
We loved our time in York! Thanks so much for watching 😊 Highly recommend Plush for a quirky afternoon tea, the vegan version was excellent, and we were so happy we got to bring our dog along!
York is a really beautiful city with lots of history. I remember walking on the city wall and hving a wonderful view of the city. Theo absolutely enjoys the comfortable ride.
So much history!! It's really fascinating. We loved walking the city walls as well, such a unique experience. And Theo definitely enjoys riding in his backpack! 😊
Ah we just looked this up and it's so cool! I wish we had known about this when we were there, we would have loved to see the plaque in person. Thanks for the tip! 😊
You can easy do a week in York. Theres lots of places to visit. The National Railway Museum is there. Free entry, a good way spend a few hours. There is an ice cream boat aswell when its nice down by the river. Plus a well known chippy there in town - Drake's Fish & Chips. The Shambles also has a Harry Potter store in it called The Potions Cauldron. A fun store to visit. In the Shambles is also the aptly named Shambles Tavern, which is a nice quaint little pub Theres also "Castle Howard", about 15 miles from the town centre, which isnt a castle, but a BIG fancy state home. I have a video on it "True opulence - A special look at Castle Howard"
The National Railway Museum was on our list but we ran out of time! There is definitely lots to do in York, I feel like we saw a lot in two days but could definitely have spent more time there, we loved it 😊
