I have only 6.5 inch wrists yet I’m 6”1’ 195 😂 but I think it will be much sleeker looking and I like the aesthetic, even as a guy; I dont think it will look too feminine.

This women’s watch is a perfect size for you even though you have a larger wrist (larger than avg). I much prefer the small one, in fact I love it and am going to buy it.
I bought the white one as a fun spring and summer watch. I had the original CasiOak as well. And there is another difference between both models. The original one has got a so called “Carbon Core Guard” shock absorber. And I’m not sure wether the smaller version has the same one. Although it’s mentioned on the back . It looks more like grey plastic to me... 🤔

There already is one on AliExpress. It runs about $82 on sale through the Hontao Official Store on AliExpress. It only comes in stainless steel at the moment, but I’m sure they’ll make other colors/finishes soon.
Am torn. As a bloke with small wrists I love these small size version. But why have they gone down the female colours only. Am torn with the black and rose gold. Wish they did the original colours in this size. They would be a sure hit for both men and women.

I dunno, they could easily fit the watch to a smaller chassis. Less resin more watch. I prefer my watches unintrusive and without actually seeing one live, I've a feeling the "mini" would still scream too much attention on my wrist.

To be honest, I prefer the colors of the hour indicators and hands on the new models over the old ones, they stick out a lot more and make them a lot more legible. The size doesn't seem that much smaller than the models "for men." I find it a bit stereotypical and insulting that Casio is only marketing the more subtle colors and size watches to women, apparently men wouldn't find more subtle styling masculine.

Not sure. The dial seems to be smaller to my eye though.

would you class the gma s2100 a bit on the female side with the rose gold? im very conflicted on that but the smaller size makes it so tempting
I have the GMA S2100 and it wears great, the rose gold isn't girly...IMO.

I prefer the 5610 myself. I like the look a little better and the solar and multiband 6 it's handy too. The 2100 is a great watch though as well.

They call it ladies on the Gshock site I believe but they're sized so that almost anyone would be able to wear it.

The watch in general is to small. I currently have the gbdh1000 and the gab2100 is way to small.
