It's a shame you can't get an award like an Academy Award Oscar for the opening drone shots of this video. And nothing shabby about the whole content. Big pat on the back to all the crews working on this and "Fly" was great closing music for the pour outro !!
Mr Bealy Good - Sir…. I’ve said it before but the intro and music are stunning - when the Duck Mafia Production credits are on as well it’s like being at the cinema - just awesome stuff. Glad the pour went well. Take care and stay safe.
Santiago knows what he's doing, notice how smooth the boom is, and ya never see the hose dancing. Good operators are priceless, the last guy will wear ya out before getting a good start. Y'all take care.
Build is looking great! Hey, I hear you mention using Travertine tile in the pool area quite often and thought I'd give my 2-cents on the product. I'm here in Tucson Arizona and the house we're renting has Travertine tile for the small landing outside the front door, those tiles get blazing hot from the sun beating on them - winter or summer doesn't matter, if the sun's rays hit the tile for an extended period, the heat they hold will sear your feet! So much so that we have to leave a mat on that tile for the dog, as he can't stand there for more than a second or two while at the door waiting to come inside, and when it rains, those tiles become a slippery trap of falls! But lots of people love them and don't mind their heat absorption or slip factor, saying it's comparable to all other tile ...but, we do things to the extreme here in Arizona, searing flesh is just part of the desert experience! Perhaps test a few, see what you think. Project is coming along nicely - good luck!
That is really really strange. One of the main reasons to use true travertine around pools is because they don’t get hot 🤔. I have a client with them around his pool and they don’t get hot. Wonder if I’m talking about a different material. Thanks for the feedback.
It's dark Night and the Work Team beginning! The Congrete Trucks come and the Worker beginning in the shine from great Reflectors. All the Prepare Area to get the filling with Congrete. A great Progress by the Mansion building. Thanks for this Video. 💪👌👍
I just watched the latest TH-cam video featuring Drew Holcomb, and I have to say, it goes far beyond just creative and unified-it’s a masterpiece of wonderful music and visual storytelling. The videographer and director have certainly got a winner on their hands with this one. The way the video captures the essence of the music and brings it to life is simply outstanding. Keep these videos coming! Who the heck needs HBO or Showtime anymore when we have such incredible content right here?
Coming along nice Geoff! That pumproom is going the hold back the sound incredibly well. Kudos to whoever cooked that idea up! Your missing concrete is due to using excavated forms. But then you'd have the cost of labor to set solid forms, the cost of the form material, and the cost of tearing down the forms. It boils down to what costs less, solid staked forms vs a little extra concrete. Can't wait to see what's next.
It was a Star Wars entrance with the aerial shots and the music. Super cool with the shape of the house in the dark and the spotlights. Crew did a good job. Thanks for the video.
Mr Bealy Good, thanks for the entertainment, watching close as I spent 40 years helping people build their homes. I am especially happy you turned me on to Drew Holcomb. Very soothing voice and perfectly blended with your video talents. Keep it coming.
You are making good progress, Geoff. Everyone has been working hard, and it shows. Getting more concrete poured is a big step towards the next level, getting finished.
Awesome progress! From the comfort of my chair sipping my tea, and with my need to interject unsolicited advice (because that’s what the internet is for 😂)…IMO you should stack more ICF. Save the pool stuff until construction is closer to completion. Winter’s coming. You need more walls to get that roof on. Thanks for sharing Mr. Bealy Good!
Harbor Freight has these single 'bulb' 4' led shop lights for under $20 during parking lot sales. I use 3 to light the driveway when I'm working on cars, but you can strap them to poles, ladders, scafolding, light stands, etc for lighting large areas
That was very satisfying, Geoff. Seeing things come together is really neat. And I am going to echo others here, fabulous filming and editing. Your music choices are spot on. This was a great video and really whets the appetite for the next one! Well done.
The opening in darkness video looked straight out of Jurassic Park - intense anticipation - I expected a T-Rex to burst on the scene at any moment! Then, I remembered that Chris took the 220 off site so - no T-Rex. Still an awesome 'rare' look into early morning work.
Y'all had it going on. Looking more and more like a house. I realize there's a lot more to go, but pretty soon you'll be able to sit back and enjoy the fruit of your labor.
I’m sure you are relieved to get that done. Congratulations on another step in the process being checked off. Look forward to the walls being built and Chris backfilling. That will really shape up the yard.

The shadows from the lights showed all the imperfections, and I troweled, and troweled, and troweled, upset at the “trowel lines”, which would not go away. That’s a good question 🤔. Never thought to ask that as (hopefully) there won’t be any recycling in my lifetime. If I get a chance to question the bar manufacturer, I will. Thanks 😊
You were so good about keeping the rebar caps on everything….. some of the worst looking ones are uncapped. 😢 Fun to watch the project. Thx for posting
