- “Extra’s” Melvin Robert sits down with “Selling Sunset” boss Jason Oppenheim at his new state-of-the-art office to dish on the drama in store for Season 7. Jason opens up about cast mate and O Group agent Amanza Smith’s very scary health battle, plus a tense confrontation between Chrishell Stause and his then-girlfriend Marie-Lou Nurk. He also talks about Heather Rae El Moussa not being featured on this season. “Selling Sunset” Season 7 is streaming on Netflix November 3.
I don’t understand how everyone always come to the conclusion that Chriselle is always the problem??? Is she not supposed to defend herself, how is the new girlfriend comes n say she threatened her ??? Like butch when , she is insecure n want the ring to secure the bag from Jason. Also what Amanza said about that dinner was so unfair and manipulating to use Mary situation. Also that UK girl is so Annoying n so manipulative and vindictive!!!!! Like leave Bre alone 🤮!!!
I'm not feeling Amanza in this season as well lol. She tried to fork out a storyline though, i'll give her that. Lmao 😂

Marie Lou seems like a genuinely sweet and kind person, who does not want any conflict. Chrishelle was immediately aggressive and defensive towards her.
The reality is, it isn’t healthy to maintain contact with your ex partner and expect your present partner to feel comfortable about it. It’s not called being jealous, it’s a normal reaction, Chrishelle is shady for wanting a friendship with Jason, but not making the effort to get to know his girlfriend and make her comfortable with their friendship. Especially when Jason’s girlfriend approached it so kindly and maturely.

Jason is the real toxic one here, wanting both Chrishell and Marie-Lou in his life when a real man would respect his past relationship, move on and focus his energy and efforts with his current relationship. @@roter13 probs due to a warped way he sees women, people in general, as resources. There’s a reason both him and Brett are still single, have commitment issues at 40+. Before launch of new office, scene when Marie-Lou joked asking for a proposal in Paris, his response was “I have so much work on tonight”, gives insight into the way he views commitment. Mary said he cheated on her during their relationship. He might be able to let go, but he likes to keep his relationships close in his own way, possibly so he/Brett can control/manipulate, grow their brand.
He’s attractive because he has status, power so harder for exes to leave him unless they feel they are in a good position themselves e.g Chrishelle willing to stay in a separate villa, keep the relationship professional as she understands healthy boundaries and her financially stable position
These dynamics happen all the time, just at diff scales

I don’t understand the fixation Jason has with all of his exes being friends with each other. Like…for what? That’s completely unrealistic. Chrishell doesn’t need to be friends with anyone Jason has previously dated or will date in the future. She’s only friends with Mary bc they genuinely like each other and were friends before chrishell and Jason dated. He also needs to step it up as the owner of the brokerage. He’s always walking around asking why the women don’t get along, but doesn’t move a muscle to resolve or head off any conflict. He needs therapy.

Who can get more followers to build themselves up on Status, being seen, getting known and more opportunities. All about the Money for All of them. 11/8/23 Chrishell wasn’t the problem with Jason’s relationship Marie Lou was. Insecure and Immature for a Model ( probably bcz age 😂)she was obviously jealous of Chrishell! She told Jason I’ll leave the office to keep the peace, just tell me to go, said No. Marie Lou lied about things said to her by Chrishell (all on film!). Wanted a ring, many hints dropped 8 mos is quick to be wanting a 💍 Jason still loves Chrishell, imo. Cute Couple ❤

It’s pretty telling that Jason only dates women his age when they’re his employees. He clearly has a thing for power differences and honestly he’s the most immature and gross person on the show. I feel bad for Marie-Lou but also like Chrishell is under no obligation to be friends with her and to say that she still has feelings for Jason when it’s clearly the other way around is funny to me.

I lost interest in this after season 5.
The women they added🤮 to the cast are dogs compared to the original cast and the drama is so staged, it’s almost predictable.
It never fails, they take a good show with good ratings and mess it up.
I wish they would stop trying to fix something that isn’t broken.

I know the real estate Market is very shaky - so the story lines are limited… And no offense but the outfits make most of these women look like cartoon characters… They are totally ridiculous and I dont think many clients would think they are appropriate or flattering. Chrishell always gets a good edit, she has always been a drama queen since S1 and she's the main girl in the franchise, literally she's the 'main character' in the whole scheme of things, all the editing gets made around her story

I always loved Chrishel but I definitely got bad vibes from the way she treated Murie, like not assuming she didn’t like her. Being polite is very different from making someone feel welcome and comfort and what I feel is that Chrishell was pretending to be nice and Murie Lou felt the bad vibe and was hurting.
