I usually fish for trout I the High Sierras of California so I do not use crankbaits. This knot looks great for the loop end on leaders . 4lb line with a 2 lb leader about 18 to 24 inch long .

It does work good for leader loops looks a lot cleaner than some other loop knots too. And man I haven’t done a lot of trout fishing but that really is some light tackle!
