It's about Australian speech at the time. They also wrote a song on the same album telling everyone they're moving to America 😂. People didn't listen.
I miss them, just another soild Aus band not seen by the world.

The Living End has been my favorite band since 2002 when i first heard them. Older stuff is definitely better though. Good choice. I would recommend West End Riot next.

i can't believe that chuck didn't mention the repetitiveness of this song. it's the same 3 lines sung over and over again with slightly different inflections. don't get me wrong, i love this song, it's probably my favorite one by the living end. braincell to joel for pointing out that epitaph uploaded the censored version of "fuck authority", even though it was my pick and i was slightly disappointed.

I was thinking the same thing when I picked it. For me this is just one of those songs where I don't care that it's repetitive but I thought they might rip on it
