Pros
- Tiny, highly portable folding drone.
- Weighs only 76 grams with battery, and does not require registration in most countries.
- 3.85V 730mah battery provides up to 13 minutes flight time per charge.
- Advanced flight modes include altitude hold, headless mode, flips, trajectory, spin, and circle fly.
- Also has throw to go capability. After binding to the controller, just toss it into the air and it will fly.
- Includes an actual 1080p camera that records at 20 fps. Camera lens may be manually moved up or down to adjust the view.

Cons
- Brushed motors. They will fail eventually. But hopefully the pilot will be trained and ready to progress to a higher end drone by that time.
- 20 fps video frame rate can be a bit choppy.
- Drone has some problems fighting wind, even at high rate. It's best flown indoors, or outdoors on low wind days.

The original Battlestar Galactica....ha ha yeah. I knew what you were referring to as soon as you mentioned the red light moving left to right. As a child it was a great show; I watched the series again a few years ago. Enough of that; thank you for the video. It was very helpful. I am looking into buying my first drone. I was going to go all out and get an expensive one but after seeing a few videos it is fairly common advice to start out cheaper.
I will be going with the Holy Stone HS430 as my starter thanks to your video. That and I live in Canada so I like the fact I can practice indoors this winter.

Very good video. My Grandson got one of these drones for Christmas and he loves it but now it seems to be stuck in the High Speed Spin mode. Is there a way to reset it? The button is not stuck. Thanks
This arrived earlier, wouldn't trim. Trimmed the blinds, seat, wall, sliced my shin, boxed and returning tomorrow. 1st & last drone 😂😅
Went forward, trim back button, went left, trimmed to right. Slight taps & it was all over the place. Had to duck a few times, didn't maintain height either. Up & down like a yoyo.
Hey Jonathan, yep it don't trim anything but the decorations. Totally unstable - I'm waiting for Holy Stone to provide a resolution. I fly a DJI m3p and wanted something to practice manoeuvres indoors - this looked promising but reality dictates otherwise.

They're both about the same performance wise, and both mainly for indoor flying. They have a hard time in the wind. But have you seen my latest review from today? This one costs about the same as either of the Holy Stones, but has powerful brushless motors and is best flown outdoors because of such. One of the app icons should flip the image. Look for a circle with an arrow on it.

Mine won't connect to the wifi. No matter what I try
To connect to WiFi, First turn on the drone and place it on a flat and level surface.
Next, open your phone's WiFi settings. Look for the drone's signal in your settings, and connect to it the same way as you would connect to your home WiFi (no password needed).
Finally, open the app AFTER you've connected to the signal. The video should now be viewable in the app.

The camera seems smoother then mine. Mine is almost unusable any idea why?
There is no automatic stabilization of the camera's video. Smooth video requires smooth flying. That takes some practice to be able fly smoothly.

The anpro will drift with the wind. You'll need to manually maintain position using the controller. Takes practice.
