This year, I have had no socials since last year December 13th (my bday) // I’m honestly just trying to reinvent myself and trying to figure my own future without distractions. I highly recommend social media breaks! You see yourself more deeply when it’s only you and your mind. You can always try it slow, like maybe 1 month without it and see how much things change. Take it slow and enjoy the process 🙌💯

I feel that a lot of black women pity black men, the struggles they go through and the pain they feel. Especially in relationships! Empathy does not equate love and we need to understand that implementing boundaries protects ourselves. Often what we don't understand is the toll this takes on us as men will almost certainly will take out their pain and sadness on us.

One thing that I respect about India is that she hushes her mouth to the public. Who knows what goes on within a household, but it does need to stay within there. I have a friend who's mama knows when to stay silent and I was always marveled by that. It has to be a learned skill because it is just something that is such a rare sight to see. I just practice this humbly every single day.

Exactly, there’s definitely power in being private but it’s also healthy to vent. I think a balance would be best because sometimes keeping everything to yourself ultimately leads to losing yourself.
I was just thinking about this. The first thing I thought about is how relationships online are not what we think they are. On IG we see one thing, rarely do we see the ugly or the reality of a situation. I also thought about the concept of being a “pearl.” It’s true that women must preserve ourselves. These men are not worth us going against our feminine standards! Cause at the end of the day they will prioritize what they want in a woman when it comes to marriage. Durk ran through a whole bunch of women but wants India because of her “body count.” That’s a very prime example. If we are not what these men want, they won’t settle down. Men put their needs first in relationships. We should start doing the same. With regards to the entire situation, I wish India and Durk the best. Love is never perfect, but we must maintain our standards and desires moving forward. Another great video ❤.

@@AJJr-hc5lz not necessarily. I feel like women settle way more than men do. Men are lowkey ruthless when it comes to not dealing with women they dont want. A lot of the time, men will show how they TRULY feel towards women they are dealing with but because as women sometimes we have the tendency to wanna try to "fix" or change a man and mold him into the man we want them to be, we stick around. I personally have never done that, but I've heard and seen it. Women fall in love with potential at times, men look at the now. Men do settle, but i feel like women settle down way more than men.

There’s a lot to unpack here. I will say you did an amazing job with this video. People may not like what I have to say about this but part of the reason for Durk choosing India is because she puts up with a lot. Durk has children that are very close in age to him and India’s child. Also I want to clear some things up about Chicago. I’m from Cleveland so I’m not far and Chicago is one of the most beautiful cities in the country. It’s also very safe to live. The hood is the only war zone for some weird reason but the city itself is safe. That being said I really want to get to the bottom of why BW who grew up the way India did see street men as desirable. It’s weird at this point. Getting attention and money should not come at the cost of your dignity and respect. Money aside Durk has 5 kids with different women whom some he’s conceived while with India and stays in street mess. Let’s do better young ladies.

I love the end, this was a good video breakdown. Social media is so fake. I had a toxic relationship similar to this, it’s not worth the pain and same repetitive issues. These two are just famous and rich. India knows what she is doing. She chose a famous man and married for the bag. I admire her quiet closed off persona though. She reminds me of myself just a little but I let I too much slide with my son’s father but now I know better.
