With respect i have a question in mind. In many places Ghamdi sb usually quote for example people already knew how to pray how to fast because of deen e Ibrahim that's why Quran didn't mention those things in detail because people already knew them. So i am thinking what was the perspective of music among people at that time. Among the people who were on deen e ibrahim and among the people who weren't. And if the music were prohibited for those people then may be that's the reason Quran didn't mention it because it was already an established thing Please ask Ghamidi sb about it if possible Jazakallah
Sometimes, it's not...heard abt Sabbath, Jews use to abstain from all the work for 12 hrs and then Allah changed the rule for us, on Friday we also have to abstain from work but for 2 hrs until the completion of afternoon prayer...and jews are also from Abrahamic religion, so here my point is had music been haram, it would have mentioned in Quran.
