I haven’t jumped down the Rikubuds rabbit hole yet. What I am extremely impressed with is the Once Upon Audio Phoenix flatheads. He is a diyer out of Budapest Hungary as well as the Dunu Alpha 3. I received the NiceHCK EB2S Pro the other day and while they were ok, they are not in the same class as the Phoenix or the Alpha 3. I can put you in touch with Once Upon Audio if you like. He is on the Short Bus discord. His Phoenix model that I have is his TOTL model. Micheal Bruce has a set as well and he was very favorably impressed. Fantastic review TonyTex. I’ll be looking forward to your next flathead review.
thanks Akros. finally reviewed the NiceHck eb2s pro, im still searching for this bud in english review, is this good? i want to try a budget stem type of bud.
thank you for sharing! unfortunately i have hard times following, which of the buds you are talking about, as you seem to jump back and forth. Suddenly talking about smabat in a rikubud review and all the others laying around and getting touched all the time. for example from 20:38 ypu start talking about the smoothness and soundstage of the asura, than jump to fun of raider and saber but instead of comparing the bass quantity you than say, they have more mids than asura. I dont get it. Hope it is understandable what i mean. i would prefer, if you talk about one bud after the other in a consistent structure of topics. otherwise i appreciate your reviews very much, especially of earbuds. did you have a chance to listen to the ucotech lineup? i got the brilliante the other day and to my ears, they are a step up from ff5 or alpha 3
Totally understand what you say and will make an effort to be a little less confusing in my coming reviews....I just get a little carried away and end up not being as clear as I would like. I'd love to try them....Any link you can provide please
Sadly, my ears don’t fit earbuds properly so I’m sticking to IEMs. The last pair I tried was the Dunu Alpha 3. Awesome sound pushing them deeper in my ear with my finger tho.
@@nusu5331What do you recommend sound wise? I can’t do iems- pain, itching, wax discharge, blockage, infections etc. So now I’m looking into these earbuds that don’t insert into ear canals. Thanks.
Thanks for shedding more on these little mini open back marvels.

Congrats on joining the rikubuds gang 🎉
Great video, as always! It would be so amazing if you were able to measure the FR of these earbuds.
I would like you to try out K's earphones Db1/Db1E as well tony. Those are amazing after switching to aftermarket upgraded cable.

Which one have the best isolation?
I know they're earbuds and they typically have bad isolation, but what do you think here have the best one?

Riku Buds are great. Had a few now, slightly overpriced. But very good, going to get a Gen 3 soon.
Fav of mine VE still AWPS and Zen 3.0.
Akros which is your favorite earbud as of now ?
NICE. What about Moondrop Chaccone 2 and RW-3000..?
Can you try the trn ema and emx please 🥺❤️
Which one sounds best overall?
Correct me if I misunderstood. Is this your favorites in order? DUNU Alpha3, Saber 3 (Gen 3), Alter Rider 3, Smabat M4, VE Asura 3.0
