The first time I saw Once Upon a Time in the West my initial reaction was “meh, it’s alright.” But after hearing this again, it suddenly transports me to this other world. A ghostly, dangerous, daring, and overall epic fairytale adventure. It’s near perfect.
A good compilation. I prefer this rendition of “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” over the original which has the chanting. However most of the music here is melancholy. Missing are the rousing themes to “The Big Country”, “The Comancheros” and “The Magnificent Seven”.

The first one's okay but after that they're mostly poor, warmed over versions of the themes. Not very good versions at all. Cheap.
