    Awesome idea. I'd be terrified of getting rear ended though.

    well done. looking at mod'ing my HF rack currently. My camper goes much further back (palomino 1251) and I need to figure out how to get my generator on it.

    Nice work but may I ask how it is holding up being a HF cargo carrier and does the truck handle different with that weight hanging off the back of your truck?

    How big and thick is the main support bar going to the hitch receiver. Is it 2x2 inch quarter inch thick wall?

    • @TheKiloG69
      @TheKiloG69  ปีที่แล้ว

      Std. size receiver hitch 1/8 inch maybe.

    that removable step you made you could turn it up side down and pin it back in for travel . that way it does not have to go in the truck or hobo .

    I've got a cargo carrier, but I've now added two bright orange flags to keep from being rear-ended... again..

    are the covers water proof i am in oregon and got me a tarp to put on the stuff i am going to be putting on my cargo carrier which i got at hf for $35 mine of course doesn't have the fancy steps ....is the gasoline military container different than what you 'd get at walmart...is the plastic better like not made in china?

    • @TheKiloG69
      @TheKiloG69  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      $10 Covers are water proof, steel cans are mil spec much better than plastic. plastic gas containers let fuel evaporate they are not worth it here in the heat.

    Wow, I thought Ford Pintos made nice bonfires when THEY get rear-ended! I'm glad It's not me driving around with all that fuel hanging off the back of what I'm driving. I really hope some distracted driver doesn't get behind you. But seriously, what are the odds of that?

    Don't get rear ended, that's a fire ball ready to happen, with all that fuel.
