  • CitiesVR just released, and I couldn't wait to play it, even preordered it and everything. Unfortunately, due to the menus and text being tiny as a cat's pecker on neutering day, the game completely unplayable. Don't buy this game if you have moderately poor eyesight or worse. Even if you just need glasses, you'll probably be squinting the whole time, and end up giving yourself a headache.

Pressing the B button allowed me to go back in the circle menu. But I totally agree with the tiny UI

Weird, I tried pressing A, B, X, and Y, but it wouldn’t go back. Maybe I just ran into a bug.

I am here for this scathing review. I don't have as bad of eyesight but I frequently have to bring things closer to my face to see. I hate it when it just disappears.
And also, the sound effects are way too loud even when you've turned it down all the way. I shouldn't have to go I to my windows settings to turn down sounds.

See, you get it. This is bad even for people who aren’t legally blind. And yeah, The audio… I very clearly turned it down, and yet Extreme loudness occurred. No idea what’s up with that.

I mean I’m shocked that a building sim won’t allow you to get right into action. A lot of players I saw on Reddit were complaining about this

Yeah, I don’t get it either. I mean you can already get close enough to see the lack of detail necessary to make it run on quest, so I don’t get what they’re worried about. It wouldn’t look much different if they just let us get a tiny bit closer and actually stand on the sidewalk or road.
