The short clip is for tip down carry inside your pants. It's designed to leave access to one side of your Axis-Lock. These are awesome SDUEDC folders; I carry mine everyday. It's my favorite Tactical Stiletto to carry everyday. Peace, Stiletto :-)
I've heard so many people talking about how they don't understand the design. But having the original I understand it completely and actually really like it tbh. Btw the short clip is meant for a molle loop as per Greg T. Great video as always! 🙏🍻
To answer your questions, the other clip is for a easier purchase on the knife to pull out such a long knife. The knife handle is so thin in order to fit into molle webbing on chest rigs.
The little pocket clip is designed with a purpose. Ment to be run behind a belt buckle with tip up for quick draw and being able to keep it concealed ment for guys doing covert work.
Few interesting changes to this blade since I picked mine up a year ago. Mine came only with one pocket clip, the one with the hole in it. It's not a "working" knife in the way most might think of that. This SOCP and it's fixed blade counterpart were designed almost exclusively for tactical use. That's where the whole in the clip and circular divots in the handle come in, for rapidly changing the hold on it to reorient the point and edge. My handle is a G10 without the circular lines, just the divots. Thanks for another "out there" off the beaten track review! 👍🔪👍
I snagged one of the original models (G10 scales, linerlock, D2 steel, 1200 units first production). I like it better than the new ones, glad I got it before it got discontinued.
Its pretty sweet actually. I had to handle one myself before I really got it.. A bit long definitely. But the size is so you can carry it on molle loops. Specifically a tactical vest. After learning all that I was a fan honestly. I love stuff like that lol.🍻
This would have been a great knife if the blade was straight for effortless penetration because it’s a self defense knife and if it was a flipper because the thumb disk impedes full penetration. Great grippy scales for hitting bones in self defense though. Could have been a masterpiece if they would have made these changes. They should contact me before they release flawed designs.
Mine is smooth and fast. .. Sharp too..
Absolutely

Not bad. I like the texture design on the scales and the shorter clip option. A little too much handle length for me though.

Maybe I'm wrong but my thoughts since I saw this knife drop is it's the new Spyderco police....
Why D2 ?
Why not D2? And I’m not sure why or how they pick the steel.
It is really cool looking but more knife then I would ever need lol
I like it but I think it's more tactical than practical

Well that’s one way to think about it.
You are obsessed with penetration girl. You've ranted about it on every single TH-cam video about this knife. Crazy girl vibes
