The other half of storyline is from Benny and Joon. The physical comic scenes are straight from Charlie Chaplin, Gene Kelly, Buster Keaton and Jackie Chan movies. Even the main theme is straight from movie Amelie. Despite all these, I love this movie but cannot call it a masterpiece due to its lack of originality. Also it was one of those movies that was undeservingly sent to Oscars as India's official entry.
I know people are missing other reactors, to each their own. But I absolutely loved Julia's reaction. Composed and grounded like Andrew. Plus adorable.

Barfi's a Masterpiece 💯 That's Foolish part in police station, when the officer said humko foolish samjhta hai, while Barfi was lip reading it Foolish sounded like Police so he nodded his head 🤣🤣 there are many hilarious scenes and emotional too complete package. I still wonder how Priyanka Chopra didn't win the National award and the Filmfare for such brilliant acting.
This movie is pure gem. The storyline might seem bit slow after the interval, but if you pay full attention, you will notice how beautifully every scene expresses characters and their emotions.
Oh man I've been waiting forever for this movie...This is like one of the finest movies in terms of cinematography music and of course acting as well Love you guys❤
Haradhan bandopaddhay a veteran actor in mainly in bengali film industry..in 7:06 th minutes..is one of the finest actors ..he is no more .. Roopa Ganguly who played iliana' s mother ...jishu sengupta who played a short role as Iliana's husband or fiance ...these are all best actors in bengali film industry and I'm very happy as a bengali to see anurag basu (who is a bengali as well) used them..
One thing i must say her mother told right , " who said you can love only once ? " , love is just an emotion of brain like anger , fear , sadness , u can get rid of your love if you are determined or if you find someone better it is actually possible to forget your previous love , you can fall in love more than once...
