      Sadly all the attending officers will know is that a panic alarm has been pressed, they will have no idea what the incident is that they are responding.

    "You do not usually need an SIA licence if you will be working ‘in-house’. This is when you are employed directly by the company that uses your services." You normally only need to have an SIA licence if you work for a company providing security to a different company, not a company that directly employs you.

    LEGALS
    1) security guard is right, on Embassy property he doesn’t need to display the badge. It’s another country.
    2) Plod (sensible guy) is wrong. He said “if you go in it’s trespassing”. No, as entering another country isn’t trespassing it’s a boarder crossing. It’s up to that country (Embassy) to dictate the terms of entry.
    EG. The doors open, you walk in by mistake. British Law about implied access etc doesn’t apply. It’s the Embassy’s decision to leave the door open. That’s partly why so much security and usually it’s all gated.

    I guarantee you the embassy staff and official diplomats know their rights when it comes to diplomatic immunity in the UK but don’t bother to know anything about British law when it comes to British citizens rights. If you did this in Kuwait I guarantee you would be months in a very dismal prison.The kaleidoscope of the diplomatic world.

    the Chinese Embassy could be a good one. even British citizens have been dragged in and attacked and police rush in to pull them to safety but no charges, also while about look for Chinese overseas police stations they were told to close them, they been cases / reports kidnap and deported. china goes by its laws they need to be put back in it place. like the protests they came out in to public and stole a banner and damaged it, that's where the assault happened. Chinese overseas police stations operating in Croydon, Glasgow and West Hendon as well as in Belfast and being used to "monitor and harass diaspora communities and, in some cases, to coerce people to return to China outside of legitimate channels" the Glasgow one was back restaurant. for actions they did the police so useless no charges, usa few got arrested but uk nothing as normal so i feel they deserve a bit extra attention

      Once he steps onto the street, then it's British soil..

      A uk citizen walks onto foreign soil, commits a crime and runs back .... if the person files a claim he would be charged...
      Now, if he punched someone in the uk, then ran onto embassy soil, police can not just go grab him.. they have no jurisdiction on foreign soil. But once back on uk land, he would be arrested.
