At BMW Motorcycles of Seattle, my new 2023 BMW R1250GSA arrived and I was able to drop by to capture the unboxing of this amazing machine.

I did not have a chance to participate in the unboxing of my new Trophy ADV one 2 months ago, but I got some photos, After 2 months of riding I totally fell in love with it. Amazing tool for the daily production of happiness.

I once (2003) pondered purchasing a k1200rs. It had a custom paint job and i returned to the dealership several times, just to admire the look. Then, one day in July, they had a special sale. Boom! I got it. I Loved it for as long as i owned it. Though i sold it when we had a new born and neede a second car. I think if i get another, it will be this bike, in triple black.
It's in your blood now. You'll have one some day.
Love this! Seaplanes are so cool, literally half airplane, half boat. Ok mostly airplane, you get my drift...

Just have it delivered to the nearest Starbucks car park as that's where most of them spend their lives.

I say leave the screen off...fit something smaller then you have a fantastic looking bike....
The key here is that I don't just look at my bike. I actually ride it. Here in the Pacific Northwest, USA, that includes riding in rain, in low temperatures, occasional 600+ mile days, and often in dusty conditions off-road. Leaving the screen off or fitting a smaller screen would make riding it less fun and less comfortable. Not a trade-off that I would make. I leave screen-less to cafe racers or other short-distance bikes.
