How to build a brand in 7mins | Gary Vaynerchuk

  • As marketers, we've been doing it all wrong. Here's how to get it right.🚀
Most brands miss the mark. They chase tactics instead of understanding the customer. Don't be one of them. @garyvee reveals the ONE thing that will transform your marketing: empathy. It starts with asking, "Will the person on the other side actually like this?"
Most brands are struggling to reach customers today. They rely on outdated assumptions and yesterday's tactics instead of focusing on the consumer. This lack of empathy is why so many companies fail.
Gary Vaynerchuk, CEO of @VaynerMedia believes there is not enough emphasis on the actual consumer in marketing. Brands need to start caring and respecting people's time. The question you should always ask is "Will the person on the other side actually like this?"
Gary shares strategies for connecting with your audience in an era of short attention spans and information overload. He explains why listening is the number one strategy before you start talking. Social media provides invaluable consumer insights - pay attention to what people are complaining about. Tell compelling stories that come from the heart.
Success requires patience and a long-term vision. Build trust and a reputation over years, not days. Ironically, focusing on leaving a legacy versus short-term results will lead to greater profits because you'll build a stronger foundation.
Stop chasing tactics. Start with empathy. Let us show you how to transform your marketing by truly caring about your customers.

The measure of building brand was based on the fact “I had to spend less money on advertising every yeah but was achieving higher sales every year”. Word of mouth and reputation was carrying the business 👏🏻 This is a masterclass piece of content, thank you!

With markets tumbling, inflation soaring, the Fed imposing large interest-rate hike, while treasury yields are rising rapidly-which means more red ink for portfolios this quarter. How can I profit from the current volatile market, I'm still at a crossroads deciding if to liquidate my $125k bond/stocck portfoli0

It’s precisely at times like these that investors need to be on guard against the next certainty. You don’t have to act on every forecast, hence i will suggest you get yourself a financial-advisor that can provide you with entry and exit points on the shares/ETF you focus on.

Right, I've been in constant touch with a fiinancial-analyst since covid . You know these days it's really easy to buy into trending stock`s, but the task is determining when to buy or sell . My advisorr decides entry and exit commands on my portfoliio, I've accrued over $300k from an initially stagnant reserve of $150K.

This is the best video I've seen you do Gary. As a senior copywriter, I so relate. I work for people who so often pushback on creative ideas with the equivalent of, That's we do things here. i.e talking to their customers like a robot. When a company gets big, it so often loses sight of human values like empathy.

And the best way I’ve heard to describe a metric of how your efforts are working. “I spent less money on advertising, but the brand and sales were growing”. Amazing way to think about / judge of your marketing efforts are working by deploying patience. Just, wow. And thank you for that perspective 😊

A couple of weeks ago I came up with an idea for something I know I could have used in times of emotion crisis that would have prevented things from getting worse. I did all kinds of research and found the product doesn't exist anywhere in any form even close to what I dreamed up. I have my prototype created, I have suppliers lined up, I've done market research in forms of talking directly to my target audiences including medical and mental health professionals. They've all said that my product is NEEDED! I'm busting my butt to get the funds needed to place a big enough order to get my containers printed with my label printed directly on them. My cost is $3 and people are not putting up any kind of protest when I mention a $9.97 price tag. I could probably price them higher but I want it to be ultra accessible. I understand my customer because I am my target customer.

I always thought I had patience. Never got upset when our daughter(now 28) cried or household problems occurred.(30 yrs together)
Just rolled with it and was happy to be experiencing life.
Meanwhile I spent 14 years behind a computer learning, relearning and learning again about business and online presence. Regretting not hopping on the Amazon Book Club train. Or the WordPress startup. But sticking to creating something to serve others. Long story short, from being a personal trainer and nutritionist to running Day Spas and Makeovers, I finally know what my service to others is. I look back and realize that 14 plus years of learning and earning and LISTENING has laid it all on my lap in a split second.
So I now carefully listen harder, take more notes and fine tune what is to come.
I see and feel what I listen to.
    That’s the difference.
The full body experience that occurs from the listening.
    That forms The Vision.
Thanks GV… I’ve listened to you too my friend.
And now I see clearly. ✌🏽💝
