Born feral, she was forced by her pregnancy to beg for food at my door, I took her in and on about August 1st she delivered somewhere nearby (haven’t seen her kittens yet).
Now she comes over twice a day for her meals, and for the past few days she’s been with me on the couch getting petted when not w/her kittens.
I hope she brings her kittens over soon!

I agree my neighbor’s daughter breeds Chihuahuas and has been given tickets (huge fines)for barking dogs. She asked me if I or any of my friends wanted to buy a puppy?
I just said that me and my friends rescue pets. I am not a condescending type of person, nobody likes that and English is not her first language however I did have a discussion about the harm it does to sell animals. And how the fines, stress and loss of time with her kids she will never get back.
Anyway the last time I saw her she gave me a big smile and hug and she said thank you. She doesn’t breed anymore.

She’s beautiful. She reminds me of Princess Toadstool, a kitty my husband rescued from the oil refinery where he worked. She looked like something found under a rock, yellowish, dank and skeletal, and grew into the most stunning, fluffy white beauty, ever. Eventually she succumbed to skin cancer, but we gave her ten years filled with love and comfort. Thank you for rescuing this beautiful girl.

Breeders need more supervision, including regular inspections. Some breeders simply treat their animals like commodities intended to turn a profit rather than living beings.
I really don’t like breeders.
I think it's very similar to how some women are treated by their partners.. like a breeder, maid and property. Then some partners still cheat on them, use/abuse, even unalive them, abandon their children, abandon their partners cause they found someone else who's younger, etc. To them, their family is just a tool to exploit
As millions are put to death each year for the crime of being unwanted, NOBODY should be breeding until All the shelters are empty. It's horrid green to lazily profit of a sentient being. Just repugnant behaviour.
