If your still around Adam I highly recommend Retro Taku Games in Madison Heights and Walled Lake, those are my go-to stores for video games in the Metro Detroit area. Man if I was Disc Replay that day it would have sick af to see you!

shoutout to the pseudo saturn kai! I love mine and it definitely helps in playing reproduction stuff I couldn't justify paying the full price for! (like I have one of the patched version of the 4M upgrade to SOTN it's a definite upgrade from the vanilla Saturn version) some cool stores in the area.
I'm going to be honest and I'm going to say I didn't watch the video, but you have to try Buddies or Cloverleaf if you're ever in the Detroit area if you haven't. Really good pizza!

You could have hit up the worst game store in existence: "New Super Gametime". They've thankfully closed down this year, after a "mysterious fire" next door, but they were the absolute worst game store in all of Michigan, if not America. I hope you hit up the Retrotaku's sometime, Game Guild is also decent, and Media Reloads are also alright.

But there is actually another location of Game Traders, I think you went to the lame one. The other location I don't think has Magic the Gathering and board games. But it looks like the one you went to has expanded a lot with their videogames in recent years, it used to be just 2 ailes. It's too bad Play n Trade is no longer around, I always found the best stuff there and I was even the reason why they had to change their coupon policy lol. Basically I once got Suikoden II dirt cheap or free because I bought 2 other expensive games with a coupon that was either buy 2, get one of equal value free or half off.

If you're ever back in Grand rapids check out vidiots and out a lil ways in middleville is pixel perfect which has a bunch of deep cuts.
